My friend, THIS is my Google search for breakthrough. There was a time that I desperately searched, high and low & EVERYWHERE, for my own breakthrough. After years of trials, challenges, obstacle-after-obstacle and devastating loss, I truly needed to find it. . . THIS, my friend... THIS! 😍 This means EVERYTHING! You're looking at my WHAT. ❤ What's YOUR what? . . In this lifetime, you simply have to know what brings meaning to your soul. You have to know deep within your being why that what is so dear to you. I'm talking about stating the essential qualities that make up your what, as well as the very boundaries around the thing (or person). NO ONE defines it but you! Some have regrets, issues, inner seething anger & unresolved emotion when they allow bosses, boyfriends & outside entities move their lines of demarkation... Don't do it! Stay true. . . At any given moment (and sometimes often), you will be challenged with respect to what you choose to cherish -and- how & why you cherish it. It won't be easy... but nothing that means everything ever is! Sink your teeth in. Don't compromise. This, my friend, will put you at odds with your soul. . . My friend, KNOW YOUR WHAT. KNOW THE WHY DEEP WITHIN YOU. ESTABLISH HOW YOU WILL HONOR THE WHAT BECAUSE OF YOUR WHY... LET THIS DRIVE YOU. LET IT DEFINE YOU. AND NEVER, EVER SACRIFICE - YOU. . . Heyyy y'all! I'm having a blast of a time at the ABWA Harris County Symposium today! I'm spending the day here at Callaway Gardens, sharing the day with some phenomenal people! I'm so excited! . . I have a vendor booth to sign people up for my FREE webinar in March, to sell my books, speaking & coaching services, my fan membership service, tshirts & hats, and to connect. Yeah, I'm in heaven, my friend! . . I wrote "Perfectly Poised To Prosper" after coming across so many women that felt bulldozed by the crazy obstacles and setbacks that kept recurring in their lives. Not only did they harbor the emotional trauma in their minds, they held on to the adverse effects of each experience. So I share the importance of emotional cleansing & tell you exactly how to do it. Are you one who does all you can to avoid PAIN, my friend? . . Well, that may not be the best thing for you. Sometimes we have to go thru a little pain to fully experience all that our soul needs to heal, grow, move past fear, learn, change behaviors/mindsets, teach, repair, spread joy and exude LOVE. . . We don't always know the outcome of the pain that we are facing. None of us ever wants it! I mean, you WON'T see a line forming for people signing up to go thru pain, am I right? But going thru pain & allowing it to bring us into a higher awareness, where we are operating in greater amounts of compassion, reverence, wisdom, LOVE and tolerance for others is definitely good for us. . . When difficulty and pain enters your life, stop and ask poignant questions to identify where it's coming from and what its purpose is. This will not only allow you to fully see the lesson awaiting you, but to quicken your movement THRU learning the painful part(s) of the lesson. . . The goal isn't to quicken the journey thru... but to GET THE LESSON. So, even if it comes wrapped in pain, please remember, it's a good thing! . . Now! My pain actually came with a vaccination shot that'll prevent me from getting Hepatitis A when I go on vacation to Panama in a week! Although a shot isn't what I'd eagerly sign up for on a regular day, TODAY I'm all about it! 😝Yes, it's painful! 😱I'll be sore for a while, true, but in the end I'll enjoy my travels & be Hepatitis A free! 👏🏿🤾🏿‍♀️Woohoo! I'm honored and so very humbled to be a part of the 2019 Our House fundraiser gala, as we work to raise funds for women and their children affected by homelessness. . . The shelter is the only one of its kind in the Atlanta area and does a tremendous job equipping these families with career skills, jobs (for many of them), education for the children, food, household goods and many other resources by the time they graduate to independent living. . . I have always had a heart for those disenfranchised within our community. My parents raised us in giving of our time, money and ourselves. However, I was particularly impacted not that long ago when I lost everything - my marriage, career, income, home & more - and came too frighteningly close to living hopelessly on the streets myself. . . Today I give so women, mothers, men, fathers and their children (way too many of them) can have the support, resources, LOVE & hand up they need in life, as I did. There's ALWAYS a team behind me, my dear friend. Always! And I am so thankful... . . I am so grateful that Stephanie Carter of Image Consultant Atlanta is on my team. She recently featured me as a client she has worked with for eight years. . . The truth is, my friend, it has truly been a beautiful relationship. Dream it. Believe it. Do it. . . Oftentimes in our lives, devastating circumstances and trauma that we experience cause us to question who we are. We forget how we've triumphed, what we've gone thru and even doubt the promise that's definitely within our being. . . I know all about that. Believing my husband & I were on our way to living the life we dreamed and worked hard to create, I ended up losing it all. What could I possibly mean by ALL? * The love of my life, who was my husband of 14 years. * The family home we purchased & spent 9 yrs raising our family. * My dream career as a Financial Advisor. * Seven rental properties, which allowed me to realize a childhood dream & promise to my father. * Every single dime I had, had ever saved, invested or put into hope accounts for our future (and for the children's colleges). * My health & mental stability because of a deep depression. * The celebration of my faith!!! 😭 * My dreams, beliefs and KNOWING. * My positive & loving countenance because of resonating anger, plaguing bitterness and debilitating fear. * My children even left me to live with their father because I had nothing left to give. * I almost gave up my own life TWICE under the weight of it all... . . It was all too much! But, for the LOVE of GOD! Do you hear me? 🙌🏿 . . I made it THRU it all. Survived, in spite of it all. Triumphed from it all. Learned from it all. Forgave after it all.
