ok so this is very random but can someone please explain to me the appeal of kissing

not on the cheek or hand or whatever, like making out, mouth kissing, stuff like that??

it just seems so gross and violating of other people's space even if they're your partner, am i just not smart enough to get it?

relationship advice #1: COMMUNICATE.

NOBODY IS A MIND READER, SO COMMUNICATE, DAMN YOU!

even if you've known each other for years, and you think they know absolutely everything about you and how you think, they don't.

if there's something you're worried about, if they said something that bothered or upset you, if you wish you'd said something different, if you both need to talk over that thing that happened, if you meant something different than what you said, TELL THEM.

you can't fix the problem if they aren't aware you feel that way, because then they don't know there's a problem in the first place.

and no, being passive-aggressive doesn't work, i know from experience that THEY STILL DON'T KNOW WHY YOU'RE MAD.

you have to talk to them so you can work that out, or it won't get fixed at all, and it might turn into something worse. if it bothers you, it doesn't have to be a "big issue" to be important.

sharing your thoughts and feelings is a basic necessity for a healthy relationship of any kind, romantic, platonic, or otherwise, and it applies to everyone, regardless of gender.

tell them about that thing they did that bothered you. if they don't work with you to fix it, that says more about them than it does about you. say those feelings you're worried they'll hate you for. if you lose them, it's okay, you'll find other people who make you happy.

i know my drawing probably makes it seem scary, but your feelings aren't a bad thing. so share them with that person you care about so the relationship can stay healthy.

just talk to them. seriously. they need to know, and they won't unless you tell them.

whenever i see people hating on "cringe" communities for doing things that make them happy i pray for their inner child

you tell us to "get a life" or "grow up" but why does growing up mean giving up joy and whimsy and being dumb and silly just so we can end up like you?? why do we have to stop doing fun things because being bitter, boring, and salty about everything is how to be mature???? what kind of advice is that?
