There's a suprise if u turn ur brightness all the way up. This piece is a bit of a personal one. I haven't been doing that well mentally and physically and in my misery I decided to project onto Dazai because I can.

The text in the background is a prose poem I wrote myself. I didnt give it a name nor is it my best work by any means but here it is.

Alone. All alone. In despair I stay in a room on my own. I lay quiescent. If someone were to barge in they'd mistake me for a dead body. God forbid they call the cops on my half lidded corpse. I wouldnt want to be stuffed with soap and forced to hold a pose.

And so I lay, in my room all bare. I float in a limbo of sleepiness and restlessness without the energy to go with or against either tide. Apathy will remain by my side either way.

The mold on my arms grows with each shallow, useless breath I take in my stale room resting on stale sheets. It's quiet, hopelessly so. The mold spreads, and I feel blue. They say a bedroom is supposed to be one's sanctuary. I have made mine a mortuary where I will lay until my dying breath and evermore. Sinking into the static, I wait for the end. An end. I eagerly await death's embrace. I've been preparing myself; decomposing early whilst my still beating heart betrays me. In my dreams I plead, My god, my god why have you forsaken me?
