Every artist was first an amateur.

It’s good. It's imperfect and that's okay. The colors slipping past the lines used to upset me, but now I see it for what it is, art with no boundaries. I had higher expectations for myself while coloring this and when it didn’t turn out exactly how I imagined, I had to pull myself out of that mindset, otherwise I wouldn’t have finished painting it. I love it enough ♡♡

Finally drawing in my sketchbook again after such a long time. It's rusty but it feels good 💚💚 I chose something simple to ease back in, and used my own photos as reference! That way, I can actually post my drawings :) I'm looking forward to coloring this sketch!!

After a year of neglect, I finally started my travel journal. Fittingly, the first day I wrote outline of was May 26, a special meet-up with my friend exactly one year ago😅 Better late than never, I guess :)

Writing the introduction helped me let go of the need for perfection and just start ♡♡ It feels good to begin finally!

To journey is to gather moments; to journal is to make them last 💟

I know not my every study day is going to look aesthetic or inspiring; because I know there are always going to be bad study days, days where I just want to finish my work, and then wrap myself in my blanket, never to see my books again for a long period of time. But! I want to make something good of my studying experience this time around. I don't think I have ever really had that. So...

When sunlight becomes the artist and the wall its canvas 🎨🖌

From the moment I woke up, it felt like the hours were ready to run. One thing after another, not in a rushed or chaotic way, just steady, full. I moved from space to space, checking things off, pausing now and then just long enough to breathe. To notice small things—dandelions, poppies. Clouds drifting. Goats chewing. Bees humming. Tiny pockets of stillness in a day that never stopped moving.

I walk not to escape, but to return—to quiet, to self, to stillness.

Strolling through the fields never loses its charm. There’s something about the way the evening light spills over the hills, casting long shadows on the tall grass, that makes everything feel softer—quieter. Birds called out from the trees encircling the farmland, and I paused to listen, just to feel a part of their world for a moment.

Out here, surrounded by green and sky, there’s no rush. The trees don’t hurry to grow, the clouds don’t rush to pass. I think that’s why I keep coming back—because something in me slows down too, finds its pace again. I left with wildflowers pressed in my journal, and quiet in my chest. The kind of quiet that stays ♡♡♡
