--This is how his oldest sister might refer to them. 'Black-and-white princess' would be her way of referring to how her cousin has pale skin and dark hair/eyes and tends to dress in black most often. Their typical style (black on black on black) kind of irritates her (lol) b/c she's kind of a snob, so she would often make critical comments about their sense of fashion.

I really love visuals so I used an anime-style app that lets you mix and match features to make them. I also want to take more pictures of my dolls, but I'm not sure if or when. I was thinking of maybe making another page where I can post just images without having to think too much.

when I prefer a non-incest ship over the incest ships...

I generally don't ship non-canon stuff, only sometimes, but mostly I try to respect canon because I believe canon shows the characters' real feelings (granted that the writer is being honest and not limiting themselves out of heavy biases). I'm not gonna tell others how to think of it, but that's how I think of it.

I've read book 1 and book 2 of Dune so far and I really respect Chani/Paul as a couple. At first I didn't like Chani and found her to be annoying as I often do with characters at first impression, and I also didn't fully understand Paul.... but the more I read and especially into the 2nd book the more I saw that they have some of my ideal qualities for a pairing. They're so pure and so focused on each other. It's beautiful. I also love the interracial aspects as conveyed in the movies. There's just so much beauty there.

I don't ship Paul with anyone else b/c I understand the way his head works and what he loves about Chani specifically, and I strongly believe that none of the other female characters in his life have those qualities (except Jessica maybe. I believe she loved Leto in a very pure way). There's a simplicity in Chani's soul rather than duplicity or instability. I believe that's why he loves her.

And he's the kind of guy who is constant in his core values and his sense of loyalty. Really honourable. Despite all the tumultuousness going on in his mind due to the powers of prescience.

I don't think Paul is a typical hero type. But I don't think he's a villain either. I think he's very complicated. Dude seems to just do the best he can with his powers, and as he often alluded... he had to choose between many evils and chose the 'lesser evil' as often as possible in the many paths available to him.

I really love their dynamic even though I felt he should've been honest with her about one important point in the story... but then he kept that to himself out of love for her, rather than disrespect. The important thing is he was still loyal to her.

They went through so much together. Book 2 had many scenes that literally had me drowning in tears....... the most compelling one being him insisting on piloting the aircraft when they were transporting Chani to the place where she was going to give birth...

I wanted to make a vid for them but couldn't bring myself to cause of things going on in my life... hard to find motivation. But they deserve fan videos.

Ok, just gotta say, The Noel/Liam thing made me laugh just cause I had no idea people still shipped them that much... I've heard the case for the ship and thought it was funny and cute but never knew it was that popular. xD

And also need to note that I was so happy to see Euphemia/Lelouch mentioned not only because he's my fave character ever ever ever, and I would support him no matter what, but also because though I am typically here for canon ships in general, I am also a sucker for good girl/evil guy which is what I'm into at the absolute core of a dynamic, related or unrelated.

And Euphemia and Lelouch definitely got the villain/heroine vibes going on exactly how I like it... she's the People's Princess and he's the Demonic, misunderstood, complicated villainous antihero. I've never thought of them as a ship until one day I randomly saw a picture of cosplayers portraying them with some kind of subtle sexual tension and it was labeled "Seduction"... and other images by various cosplayers in which Euphemia is presented as this compassionate angelic figure and Lelouch like a fallen angel in need of salvation.

Ever since then I was here for it, as an alternative possibility to canon pairings, rather than something competing with canon. I love canon the way it is, but I also can appreciate this ship, and there is a case to be made for it as Lelouch even admits at one point in the show that Euphemia was his 'first love' (as in, the first girl he was in love with). It also says alot about Lelouch, which is that he is into the good girl type (I can totally relate). :)

In a world where so many people seem to be looking for their clone, I'm much more interested in how characters with opposite traits love each other and accept each other's differences. That's what is inspiring to me about this type of ship.

My case for the ship is that Lelouch would be worthy of her despite his flaws since he showed genuine caring for her by going out of his way to spare her life as far as he could. The last act he did to her, he did not do happily but rather due to extreme circumstances which called for that action. Basically at that stage in the story, he couldn't save her so he had no choice. But the deep regret was obvious and it showed just how much he loved her.

I think Euphemia also had alot of respect for Lelouch and believed him to have a good heart deep down. I think if canon was different and allowed for this as a pairing instead of what was already there, then these two would make a beautiful pairing if they had gotten more time to interact with each other and understand each other more deeply...

So yea... just needed to say all that.

Renovated canon incest list

So, I'm currently rebrending my canon incest list (remind you, that it contains only what I've seen personally, I obviously know about the existence of a ton of other incest media).

Now it will contain pictures of the ships, additional tags and hidden spoilers (hightlight the text to see them). It still contains some kind of spoilers because the ships themselves might be spoilery, so sorry about that, I can't hide pics in that manner. I will think of making a site or a separate blog for this, but for now I'm content with this.

Also, I'm relying on my memory in adding tags, as I mentioned it is shitty, so if you remember something I don't, you're welcome to tell me. Some media I haven't finished though, so I may not know the ending tropes (preferrably don't spoil, please).

Very true about reading. I find that's a great way to give the mind a break but still be inspired. Also, seeing nice sentences and new words can help you improve your own writing. So reading is a productive way to take a 'break' from writing in the hopes of getting past writer's block.

I personally don't believe in writer's block. I find that's how I get past it. I believe that it's just a time when you may feel tired or burnt out from other things or really just comes down to a lack of inspiration, which is why reading and watching new things and finding new information is the key to keeping the ideas flowing.

I also find that writing bullet points of the main scenes or events you would like to cover can help you keep focused on going scene by scene from beginning to middle to end. Looking up random images online to describe things better also helped me.

Also, doing some other hobby as a break that is still creative can be a good thing. I think the most important thing is to be kind to yourself and not be too harsh on yourself. Be more relaxed in the first draft just to get it moving, and then you can fix the parts you are not fully happy with in second draft. It's a process and you don't have to get it perfect the first round.

Bruhhhhhh how do I get over writer’s block? It’s so bad. I haven’t updated my fic in monthssssss; even though I want to. I know what I want to write, but I’m terribly burnt out with the actual writing process.

My characters are siblings in love (and lust) and I want to go so much further with their story. 🙏🏽

I'm very sympathetic, because I have a story I work on only in the winter (it takes place at Christmas) and last year it just was not flowing and I would sit down to write and could only manage a few sentences, and it was really frustrating and disappointing.

I'm sure there are a lot of resources online with better tips than me. But some suggestions are that you could work on a part from later in the fic that might come easier or that you're excited about, you could read a book or watch a movie with a similar story to get you inspired (this works particularly well if that movie/book disappoints you and you have an urge to fix it through a work of your own), or you could use some kind of randomizer or prompt generator or just random words from flipping through the dictionary to dictate what comes next and see what kinds of ideas you get.
