Shipcestuous: A History

Well, I had started shipping incest a few years earlier. And I would be watching my ships and realizing I had a lot to say about them. There were some fan communities for really popular ships, like Alex/Justin from Wizards of Waverly Place, but nowhere where I could talk about less well-known ships or make recommendations. I knew I couldn't be the only one out there who liked multiple incest ships and just enjoyed incest shipping in general. So I decided that I would start a blog.

I started out on Wordpress. (And I still maintain my Wordpress for long commentaries that have a lot of images accompanying them.) I was really gratified, because I collected a few likeminded followers, and we had great discussions and shared recommendations, and I considered it a complete success. I had just finished college and wasn't working yet, so I had a lot of free time for writing commentaries and I was really having a great time.

Around the time that Arrow first premiered, I decided to start a tumblr to reach more people, and I never would have guessed I would have so many followers or get so many asks. Unfortunately, I don't have as much time for blog-running as I used to, but I'm really pleased that I'm still around and still meeting new incest shippers.

I've heard from so many people who are grateful to have a community where they can ship incest in peace, so I consider that to be the #1 goal of this place now. But first starting out, I just needed an outlet for my thoughts, and I really needed to make a connection with at least one other person who had the same shipping tastes as I did.

Thank you to everyone for making this such a rewarding place to hang out!

I just want to leave this headcanon here. I don't know if it ever existed or there is a headcanon like that, tell me if so.

"what if Rhaenyra was Daemon's daughter?" the only surviving child between Aemma and Viserys and she didn't even come from Viserys seed. A Daemyra who, in addition to being an uncle/niece, still has a secret daughter incest. I would DIE if someone wrote about this😩🥵
