Rhetts rec in eb 352 was the movie Barbarian starring recent GMM guest Justin Long!

Its a cinema release so no telling yet where or when it might stream or even be available to buy as VoD.

Please note its already out in the States, that must be a UK poster I've got a picture of. It will be released on October 28 in the United Kingdom, October 20 in Australia and October 27, 2022 in New Zealand.

The rec in eb 351 was obviously, it being the album listening party, Rhetts debut album as James and the Shame - Human Overboard

Available everywhere you get your music, including YouTube with 3 music videos for the released singles.

A little ask from Rhett to also add this to playlists so that the algorithm figures out his genre more and recommend to those who you think might enjoy or resonate with it.

No one asked for a review but I will say if you haven't given this a listen yet, please give it a chance, even if you don't think it'll be your thing, you might be pleasantly surprised! I've ended up listening to this so so much more than I thought I would!

Dr Emily Nagoski is the author of 'Come as You Are' and more recently the book 'Burnout'

Come as You Are also has a revised and updated version, linked above, as well as a workbook version. I believe a Come as You Are podcast is also in the works and a future book release focusing on long term relationships called: Come Together

No real rec this week, more some advice from Link: if you are getting a massage on beach vacation, get it on day one or two so you don't need to worry about sunburn.

Although I think Rhetts advice to just wear sunscreen might be more sensible 😅

If somehow you had not heard/seen about Rhetts music project, I encourage you to give it a listen, even if you aren't sure it'll be for you. I've seen plenty of comments from people saying that even though they don't like country music, or even though they can't relate to the deconstruction element, they still liked this song, so you might to!

We got a re-rec this week! Eb 340 Link also recommended this doc, having only just watched it himself. He did note that he thought Rhett had previously recc'd it and I was sure I'd posted about it!
