Feel free to use this bit, but please be considerate and don’t copy it word for word, since I still intend to use it myself in my (not yet published) stories

The gang houses a house party one night and A brings B along

B‘s alcohol tolerance is insane and everyone is stunningly irritated by it, when they see them „waste“ an entire vodka bottle by finishing it at the same time as the others finished their beers

(Not necessary, but I found it funny and it’s easier to explain the next bit, without making A immensely vulnerable to alcoholic substances)

At some point during the night A is anything but sober and stares at B, seemingly in some sort of trance

Every once in a while when B looks at them A slowly blinks at B and looks like they expect some sort of response from B, which they fail to realize

This goes on for some time, A getting increasingly annoyed with B, until A just grabs B‘s face, turns it to themself, slowly blinks again and after gaining no real response from B angrylily and drunkenly asks them why they won’t „love them back“

B, obviously confused, asks A what exactly they are talking about, upon which A's face takes on a confused expression

„I.. it seems I’ve been trying to tell you I love you in cat language“, A sheepishly admits, making B‘s mouth twitch in amusement

Embarrassed by this A blushes, B decides to make A‘s situation worse by grabbing their face and kissing them „Next time you want to tell me „I love you“ just do that, much simpler“

A wants to help the traumatised victims, but after a few failed attempts understands that their menacing aura isn’t exactly ideal

B however is perfect for the job while C tends to the press

A is immensely impressed and at the same time a tad bit jealous that they can’t do that

B of course notices and one day introduces A to a kid that unfortunately became victim to The Big Bad

A Melts and later cries

A week later after another attack B comes up to A saying someone wants to speak to them

It’s the kid who drew a picture of them together and A just kind of collapses and hugs the kid

B and C are more or less used to the fame and glory connected to the hero business, but it’s one of the only times A actually got any recognition and it just melts his heart

A: *Yawning*

B: I get it now, being pretty must be insanely exhausting

A: Explains why you’re so tired all the time

B: *Grinning* Also explains why C is so full of energy

B: Habe you tried plugging your phone in first?

B: Welcome.

"Sorry," A muttered, devoid of any hint of remorse, making B wonder if remorse was an emotion A was capable of feeling.

"Don’t worry, you will be," B replied, his tone leaving no doubt in A's mind.
