I need to specify that this is a need, not just a want: Will Byers edit to the song ‘People are Strange’ by The Doors. I’ve had this idea forever but I cannot for the life of me edit. I’ve got the idea that ‘faces come out in the rain’ should be a clip of Will on his bike when the Demogorgon first appears to take him and ‘no one remembers your name’ should be the zombie boy newspaper clipping. Apart from that I’ve got no asks.

I’m coming on here to address my fav fanfic troupes that I need more of:

Time travel - not ‘fix-its’ when they return to their past body or some shit, I mean full fledged time travel, into the past (or future if you’re felling especially devious) meeting themselves, and chaos and drama. (I’ve got a Byler fic like this called ‘Fuck the butterfly effect’ on ao3 as an example).

Secret relationships - I can’t stress enough the thrill I get from this one, hiding a relationship for whatever reason relating to whatever fandom (i.e. homophobia, enemies to lovers, closeted) just for everyone to accept them after coming out in either the cutest or most embarrassing way possible (I’ve read so many drarry fics with this but it’s never enough).

Streaming/Youtube AUs - I read an aziracrow one like this, I’ll have to find the link but I swear it was adorable. I just love the story through the screen of two famous YTs who either have no relation or are friends but are actually dating (not quite in secret just not announced) or even just one of them is famous and everyone loves the secret off screen ‘roommate’.

Jealous/protective character - OMFG DO I LOVE THIS. Just one character watching their s/o get flirted with who is oblivious that they’re being flirted with and then like snogging the shit out of them or blatantly exposing themselves as a couple in front of the flirts.

Immortal AU - again, Merlin/Merthur fics I’ve read with this concept are brilliant. I love a sassy immortal, the Merlin ones when Uther tries to execute him and fails is always hilarious. The drama is so hype too, like what do you mean they’re immortal and can’t die? What are we supposed to do with this now? And so badass too. Or like when Merlin gets a super deadly injury that would kill anyone else in front of Arthur and walks it off like nothing. Literal chills. This isn’t just a Merthur fic idea, it’s just the best example I can think of rn at 00:05.

Zombie apocalypse AUs - I’ve seen a lot of these, but again tying into the immortal concept where one person is like infected but doesn’t actually turn or they’re like half-zombie half-human and get badly injured but walk it off almost, y’know? Not so much this as others but I thought it was worth a mention.
