Web Analytics Optimization Mastery Journal

As I approach the final days my professional studies, Web Analytics Optimization course at Full Sail University I will have successfully earned my Internet Marketing Certificate.

This month I experienced how to develop a complete optimization plan in which assists to reach customers more efficiently. These metrics can be used to explain an outcome, correct a problem, chart a future trend, and/or estimate the success of a marketing attempt(s).

Throughout my deep research and investigation of various WA tools like Alexa and Google Analytics and their features, as a marketer I am skilled to analyze web visitor traffic and effectively report results to make fitting recommendations.

My masters level assignments improved my capability to identify and diagnose problems with visitor acquisition, conversion, and retention leading to my future contributions to improve usability and website design for maximum user experience.

The effective web analytics business process along with the simple data collection organization teaches us to solve multidimensional issues with just key insights, a way to massive amounts of data but yet in a beautiful and distinctive way in which flows clear and direct.

There’s no such thing as “fake news” when you’re talking data.

Advanced Internet Marketing Strategies Mastery Journal

The Advanced Internet Marketing course during my studies this month at Full Sail University pushed me to the center of digital marketing. This time around I had a chance to put my hands on the data itself, organizing, measuring and analyzing. I now have the full experience on how to identify personas within online social media platforms and the relations they have with that existing company. In doing so it is essential to identify the different levels of the funnel navigation to measure metrics and track various levels of campaign performance. 

During my studies this month I fell behind due the volume of the new information and intensity of my new job. Although I was challenged with time management I remained focused learning how to improve my reading and writing comprehension while learning to build an advertising campaign from the customers point of interest. 

Why build your business models your way, when you can build it in the interest of your very audience simply based off the information they have already provided you. 

This data is valuable as it helps us to understand how to apply conversion optimization strategies to the design of landing pages, advertising ads and the messages we promote on them. Supporting consumers short term or long term is part of the core, increasing brand awareness visibility and conversion rates, along with establishing and managing a partnership is how we gain traffic and credibility. 

It’s exciting yet nerve-wrecking playing in a pool of data of internet marketing. Although it gets hard, confusing and everything looks upside down I remain humble besides I’m just reading the data and learning things like A/B Testing CPC, Dynamic Site Change, Exposures, Multivariate Testing, PPC and Quantcast.

New Media Marketing Mastery Journal

New Media Marketing has taught me to explore resources in understanding certain key concepts and actionable tips. First identifying personas, goals and strategies in order to develop brand ambassadors and influencer outreach campaigns leading to creating and maintaining measurement plans tying marketing performance to business objectives.

The types of new media we examined included mobile technology, websites, email virtual worlds, social media networks, podcasting, interactive television and location-based technologies. Weekly Exercises and Reading Assignments have met my original objectives to understanding how to market thought leadership, addressing negative comments online, channel selection base on audience preferences and defining marketing success for the brand.

And it doesn’t stop there, I even studied how to successfully incorporate social media, video and mobile applications into a company’s existing marketing mix to achieve increased brand exposure, consumer engagement, and conversions. Overall the online marketing mix was able to help me understand and appreciate new media channels and its marketing potential.  

Throughout various components of study and application, I am able to identify influencers and brand ambassadors and the best practices to cultivate relationships with them to launching a plan to create brand advocacy programs for the company’s fan experience.

Not only do I now understand how influential people, organizations, publications, journalists, and websites in the industry will help fully leverage marketing efforts but it grants me with the ability to break through new media’s noisy activities and find out what consumers are really saying online using successful strategies. For example, when considering the probability of positive and negative mentions it’s important to remember how to address negative comments in a productive manner because it reflects in helping build the online brand. It’s essential to handling outbreaks in a proper manner.

Defining what success looks like for your company can come from your unique target audience and direct line to consumers by knowing how to harness the power of what they are saying and doing. Mobile marketing is used to promote business/organizations that is also used to recognize who/what influences them and the potential partnerships that can be made based upon performance results.

Building online relationships through influencers or word-of-mouth marketing in the form of a brand ambassador program are new forms of identifying fans and developing long term relationships. Implementing these aspects literally takes marketing departments from 0 to 100, real quick.

Also, measuring metrics gets tricky but not as long as you remain organize keeping the main goal in mind converting influencers into brand ambassadors and customers into fans effectively using analytics to demonstrate the return on their marketing investment.  

So, you tell me how cool is it that you can take your company to the next level and meet expectations through brand awareness, customer/sales channel support and even an in increase sales simply with social media?

Internet Marketing Fundamentals Mastery Journal

This past month I have been attending an online class, Internet Marketing Fundamentals at Full Sail University. This course has met all of my original objectives by ensuring I have chosen the right program to further my education and expertise within the marketing field.  

The process to mastering the fundamentals already feels like an accomplishment after completing just one class. I’m officially soaking in the world wide web. Now, I have a better understanding of the inbound and outbound process, how to access background data on a business/organization then analyzing search engine optimization data to improve the quality and benchmark of the company. After implementing these changes, it guarantees more traffic, customers, sales and conversions will be generated.

Throughout my search engine optimization research, I learned it’s precisely important to stay organized when beginning to collect data to analyze your business and competitors. During the Website Analysis assignment, I learned the hard way that not all SEO Engines are reporting the same findings. So, it is important to know which SEO software you will be using for the purposes of your study. This prior knowledge will assist you in collecting the correct data from a credible source.

Professionally, I expect to utilize my skills to improve the rate of small businesses and amateur talents who are struggling to maintain the speed of digital marketing. These concepts have proven the necessary revisions will allow your business/organization to become more effective so who better else than those who lack these skills. My dream is to see less business/organization losing out because of the lack of internet marketing knowledge.

Learning to develop and maintain my online audiences from the outside in, for the success of my community, couldn’t be more exciting!
