bakugo: they arent. when we lived in the dorms at UA eraserhead had a rule. if you left the dorms for any reason, you have to have a buddy, and you HAD to hold their hand. No excuses.

bakugo, smiling: kirishima, to this day, when he goes out with friends from UA will hold their hand. everywhere. i dont, it was super annoying

bakugo: yeah, no. if we didnt aizawa would have totally expelled us. one time me and mina went out at like 8 to get mcdonalds for some reason and she had to pee really badly and then we almost got kicked out bc they found me in the girls bathroom, hold her hand while scrouched next to the stall.

- she's got naturally wavy hair but straightens it most school days. the first time 1-a saw her with her natural hair they complimented her so much (esp mina) that she stopped straightening altogether by second year

Hello! I recently found your blog and saw that you are taking request and I was wondering if you could do some HC of Hawks with a S/O that has Bipolar Disorder??? Hope you feel comfortable doing them but if not, then what about some HC with Hawks with a young S/O (not that young, but maybe three years)? Thank you!

Kinda worried about posting this one, but I can try. I'll do both

Disclaimer: I do not have Bipolar Disorder, and my knowledge on it is purely from an educational standpoint since I am studying psychology and have done research on it. However, I do not have field experience and I am not certified to diagnose or treat any mental illnesses. Please do not take what I say here as a means to self diagnose. Also note that Bipolar Disorder isn't the same for everyone and I tried to keep my writing somewhat vague and general as to not stereotype or exclude anyone.

S/O Who Has Bipolar Disorder

I think that at first he might have had a misconception on Bipolar Disorder and just thought that it meant you were just moody

Once you explain what it actually is he'd actually be very accommodating and tries his best to help you through your moods

He'll do as much research as he can and ask you questions on how to best help you

If you experience frequent manic episodes, he'll take on the role of the voice of reason and tries to keep you from endangering yourself in any way

If you tend to make large purchases during these episodes he'll talk you out of it if it's a really unnecessary one that will serve you no use in the future

If he can't, he honestly might just take over the expenses for the house until you're no longer manic

He learns some grounding techniques to help you if you experience panic attacks or even just general anxiety symptoms

If you experience depressive episodes, he's understanding and makes sure you're taking care of yourself still even it is the bare minimum like brushing your teeth or showering and eating

If you take classes and he'll do his best to help you with them whenever you are depressive or manic since he knows your concentration and drive can depend on which episode you are dealing with at the moment

He'll also help you even if you aren't experiencing an episode

Don't expect him to be much help though in either scenario he's just as confused as you are

If you work, the same thing applies where he'll remind you to wake up to go to work or calls in for you when it's really bad

He encourages you to talk to a therapist and if you have one already he keeps in mind when you have appointments in case you forget, if not he'll help you find one if you need it

He gives you a feather that you can keep with you so that if you need him you can alert him and he encourages you to do so for whatever you need, even if it seems unimportant to you because you're important to him

Medications will be religiously checked and if you're the type to forget to take your medication, he's like your personal alarm

S/O Who Is Younger Than Him

If you happen to be younger than he is, he'll tease you to he'll and back

Like you can be anywhere from a day younger to three years and he will not stop teasing you about it

Will say things like "When I was your age" and "Hush little one, the adults are speaking"

Just punch him at the point he deserves it 😤

Whenever he gets overwhelmed, you take him somewhere quiet and use your powers to either pull out happy memories from his mind, or 'transport' him to a meadow until he calms down and he always appreciates it

Gets nervous when you astral project because while you look okay, it still feels unsettling knowing you're not actually in the body that's currently going through the day's tasks

Whenever you two get to work together on the field as heroes it's truly the dream team as you're both proficient in your quirk usage and fighting ability

Hawks/ Keigo Takami

I think that's a pretty good summery of his thought process when he first saw you using your quirk to take down a villain that was giving them way too much trouble. You were only a sidekick at the time but your popularity had skyrocketed because of it.

The way your eyes glowed as you forced the villain to their knees and restrained them *chef's kiss*

Loves playing with your hands, marveling at how something so unassuming can wield so much power

He refuses to let you into his mind for the longest time since he didn't ant you finding out about the Commission but once you're allowed to look, he had to restrain you from getting arrested

He would never say it out loud, but he never liked that you were a hero like him, constantly in the spotlight and very powerful. It put you in the direct eye of the Commission and the last thing he wants is for you to be placed under them

Dabi/Touya Todoroki

When Shigaraki brought you into the LOV, he scoffed and immediately wrote you off

You looked way to frail and honestly he expected you to be dead as soon as you all hit the battlefield for the first time but you didn't so he was impressed

It honestly wasn't until you both got into a fight and you deflected his flames using your shields and then sent him flying that he started to respect you and your power though

Thinks it's way too unsettling when you go into people's minds and downright refuses to let you in his. The one time you did it was an accident and lets say your hatred for Endeavor grew 3x in size that evening

Will sometimes pick a fight with you, just so he has an excuse to see your powers in action because he would first die than admit that he likes the way it looks

He was with you for your first kill as a villain and watching you choke someone without touching them while holding the backup up pinned to the walls was honestly the reason he realized he was in love with you. Good luck with that.

You used your quirk on him on a fighting exercise when you first met and from then he was both irritated and interested in your quirk

Likes to lay down and just watch you when you use your quirk sometimes in mundane settings since he finds it so relaxing and enjoys your company. Not that he'll admit it without a fight though

As for your craft, he was mostly skeptical at first but supportive as he would do everything he can to make sure he can keep up with you when you start explaining things

Somehow got competitive and learned everything he can so he can help you, but that won't stop him from acting smug as shit whenever he finds an opportunity to correct you on something

Thinks your alter (if you have one) is pretty cool and is willing to help you find things to decorate it with

Candle king, 10/10 would recommend anything he recommends because this boy knows his stuff when it comes to candles I feel like

Gets really invested in learning about your craft and will write down everything you tell him. Everything

Has a notebook of different types of crystals, herbs, flowers, and the like with their properties and how and when to use them

Says it's for you, which it kind of is, but also he just really likes learning about it

Like, you joked that it was basically his grimoire but bro I don't think it's a joke anymore

Your quirk also fascinates him like all others do since it's so beautiful to look at while also giving you a great advantage on the field

Going off on that, he'll sometimes bring you random rocks or pretty leaves or flowers he found while walking to and from the gym

If you do tarot, he will absolutely love for you to do a reading for him and will live by it religiously

Even for small things like "Hey, love, can you do the tarot thing to help me decide which shirt to wear?"

Dekusquad General Headcanons

Character(s): Midoriya, Todoroki, Uraraka, Asui, Iida, Tokoyami, Aoyama

Warnings: None!

First thing's first: I strongly consider Tokoyami and Aoyama to be part of the squad and they will be included here

Todoroki loves cryptids

Uraraka showed him some Mothman videos and he was henceforth hooked and is determined to either find or make his own cryptid

Both he and Uraraka stay up at late hours of the night to watch/listen to True Crime. They love Buzzfeed Unsolved, and subscribed to Watcher once Shane and Ryan left

Tsu will cuddle up to the nearest person when it gets too cold. Most times it's Todoroki, for obvious reasons, but sometimes she'll latch on to Iida since he doesn't really notice whenever she latches to his side. He just continues on as if he doesn't have a new add on.

Midoriya either has all of the energy or none of the energy, no in between

Tokoyami and Midoriya share similar music tastes and infected the rest of the group with it

Aizawa has past by Midoriya's room only to hear Dragula blasting at full volume and the squad just chilling inside

Uraraka's workout/training playlists consists of an odd mix of different types of music

Like Bet On It from HSM2 will be playing and the next song will be Venom by Little Simz, and then Another One Bites The Dust by Queen, and then Teenagers by MCR

Aoyama somehow wiggled his way into becoming Mom and no ones knows how, not even him

He's always the one they go to for emotional/mental breakdowns and general advice. He's always happy to help with a smile and a plate of fancy cheese

Tokoyami sleeps with various nightlights and the rest of the squad think it's adorable

Iida will sometimes go feral, but in a responsible way

They were trainging once and Iida wanted to test out something so he put on his helmet and asked Uraraka to remove the gravity of his clothes before going full throttle at an unsuspecting building

He was only mildly hurt because of his armor, but now he knows how to adjust his speed on a shorter notice so it was worth it

Todoroki was oblivious to the point where someone had to sit him down and explain things. He's gotten more aware, but still likes to act like he doesn't understand the most base things because he finds the looks he receives funny

Dark Shadow keeps stealing shiny things from Aoyama's room to give to Tokoyami, who scolds him for theft

Aoyama has started leaving unwanted jewelry and other shiny objects out in obvious places so that he can take it

At the start of their friendships, Midoriya tended to flinch at too sudden movements so the squad all started announcing their intentions whenever they get close to him

"Hey Deku! Hug?"

"High five!"

"I would like to pat your shoulder, may I?"

He really appreciates it and after a while he gets more comfortable and tells them they don't have to do it anymore

They still do

Group pictures involve all of them climbing on top of each other with the timer counting down

Most of them end up blurry or capturing them with the most ridiculous faces as they fall from the dogpile

The one that turned out the best and their all time favorite had Tokoyami on the bottom, laying down with his arms out and his feet up as Uraraka stood on them, her quirk to lift Iida up who had Todoroki and Aoyama cradled in his arms and Midoriya sitting around his shoulders and clinging on to his head. Dark Shadow t-posed above all of them.

Once you assure him that yes you are okay, no it didn't hurt, he reverts to full on fanboy mode

A good two to three pages in the notebook dedicated to you about how your quirk affects your scar and questions about if it affects other things, like wrinkles or open wounds

If you ever feel insecure about it, he'll roll up his sleeves and show you his own scars and let you trace them

Just a gentle reminder that you're not alone and that he's there for you

He's your biggest fan and he lets you know everyday

Shoto Todoroki

Scar buddies!!!! It was one of the first things he noticed about you

When he saw it light up when you used your quirk, he was mildly curious and very awed

You know that seen in Wandavision where Wanda strutted out of the Hex to deliver the missile back to SWORD? Remember the absolute power she radiated?

That's how you brought back one of Bakugo's gauntlets after you blasted it off his arm during a training exercise, the "You missing something?" and power stance and everything, what an icon

Pick him up with your quirk and pull him for a kiss, he loves it

Shoto Todoroki

Watching you do small mundane things with your quirk = free serotonin

Like you could literally just pick up you phone, or a move a pencil back and forth with your telekinesis and he's 😍

You'll make little shapes with the energy that surrounds your hands and he'll try to replicate it with his fire if it's just for in the moment, and with his ice if he wants to make it more permanent

He likes seeing your eyes glow, he thinks it's beautiful and has no shame in telling you that to your face at the most random moments

Is willing to establish a mental link with you and gets so comfortable that you two could be in a room together and talk for hours but no one would know because it's all happening in your minds

Hitoshi Shinso

Another one that really likes the idea of speaking almost completely telepathically with you

He's a lot more willing to be flirty, cheesy, and even vulnerable with no chance of others overhearing you two

Unfortunately, he got so used to it that he forgot other people can't read his mind so he'll try talking to them but (he's just basically glaring at them) get so confused why they get scared or irritated

You two try to Spiderman kiss with you holding yourself upside down or he holding himself with his capture weapon but it ended up feeling awkward. Made for a good laugh and story though

He'll lean in for kiss sometimes but you'll put up a small shield near your lips before he can to tease him and he literally gets so offended please 😭

Izuku Midoriya

There is a very good chance you accidentally found out about OFA because you've been inside his mind

He let you see his memories of the previous OFA holders to try and figure out what he could do

Whenever he gains access to a new quirk you're the first person he goes to since you know and can relate to having such a powerful and sometimes uncontrollable quirk

He also really likes your mundane everyday quirk usage and finds it fun whenever he walks into your room and there are things flying around as you look for something

Once he learns Float, you two will go on air dates where it's basically using your quirks to fly around the UA campus (if you're still students) or the city (once you're Pros)

Likes to test out how much power he can let out on your shields since they're very durable (with your permission ofc!!!) and comes up with different ways to get passed them so you know where to touch up your weakness
