Im saying this because in the buddie of it all it just rubs me wrong

I understand that they're grieving bobby and grief itself is a complicated thing and everyone processes it differently

But after the kitchen scene fight eddie just brings chris back and says 'heard some dick was being mean to you' instead of just admitting that he was wrong and sorry

You're a grown ass man i think you should be able to admit that you were sorry and express it like a normal human being

This whole sneaking around and talking to others instead of talking to the problem itself (in this case buck) is something that i can't understand

And im not saying buck is a perfect angel because he is definitely not im just saying that fucking communicate like a grown person

In season 9 i want buck to have a crash out.

Look its long overdue and we need it BUT i also want him to be finally happy after it

Like if we can't have buddie i want him to love someone and someone to love him straight back, no bullshit, no drama, just pure fluff and love

I want my comfort character to finally have comfort without the riddles and advices that doesn't sound like a fortune cookie

Buck called Eddie "brother" exactly once then a Christmas Elf told him no that's your husband actually and he agreed and never did it again.

Buck is a silly guy trying to be taken seriously and Eddie is a guy who’s been forced to be serious but wants to be silly.

Eddie takes everything Buck says and does seriously. And Buck gives Eddie the space and freedom to be silly.

And this is literally the perfect combination of why every time they’re together they turn into dumbass and dumbasser.

Not them going back to their unhealthy coping mechanisms

Eddie going back to violence and war and buck going back to his 1.0 and hookup era (even for one night) because they both needed to fill the void the other left them with

eddie joined an illegal fighting ring because he missed buck (along with other reasons but we’re not gonna pretend that wasn’t one of them). buck hooked up with his ex boyfriend because he missed his best friend (in best friend’s said old house)

Saw a post making the whole 'shannon rolling in her grave because the kid she birthed looks like her ex husbands situationship.'

And then I looked at the comments where several people were talking about how actually Eddie just has a type and Shannon and Buck look alike.

And like-

And, these are some of the best examples for this.

So, now I am of the belief that, yes actually, Chris does look exactly like his mom, it's just that his mom happens to look like the man his father is totally in love with.

I've also been people mention that 'Eddie doesn't have a type he dated Marisol and Ana' and like, yeah he did.

But.

As I've seen several people mention before they were women Eddie felt that he needed to date.

He felt obligated to because it's what was expected of him.

These women are two lovely, Hispanic ladies that are good with his son.

Things his parents have told him he should find.

Buck and Shannon are the opposite, and are fantastic with Chris.

Shannon for obvious reasons loves Christopher, and her and Eddie obviously had a kid together for a reason even if their marriage wasn't for good ones they did love each other at one point.

Buck, he has no obligation to love Christopher or even interact with him in the way that he does. He could just be Eddie's best friend, or a family friend that Christopher sometimes hangs out with.

But, no. He actively chooses to be a part of Christopher's life, to love and care for him in similar if not the same ways as Shannon and Eddie.

This is something that I think draws Eddie to him.

Though obviously Shannon and Buck are nothing a like so Eddie's attraction to him isn't soley based on looks.

Anyway they totally look a like and I've spent to long typing this because at work. And work has had overtime last and this week meaning I work 5 12 hour shifts.

I'm tired.

Buckley siblings are so precious to me. The way maddie says "he's all alone" when the fire truck bombing happened makes me emotional every time

No matter what they've been through you just know that they will be there for each other every time

I got into 9-1-1 last year and I've been watching it until the 8×14/15 shitshow happened. I know every plot and spoilers coming anyways so i stopped watching at season 6 poker date episode and i will not watch it any further

Im good in my little bubble, i stopped at the peak. In my mind pops still alive, maddie didn't get her throat slashed and buddie cannon

Im just gonna stand here and watch if they gonna screw up season 9 or not

My only regret is not seeing mustache eddie diaz, rip it was an icon to me :(

What if that was my last straw?

keep thinking about those screenshots of buck's house after bobby died. no flowers. no one sent him flowers because it wasn't his dad who died, not really. just like chris leaving wasn't his son leaving, not really. eddie going to texas wasn't his partner leaving, not really. buck occupies all of these spaces unofficially and he knows who he is to them but when they leave he's always, always left with nothing. again. most important relationships of his life and he's empty-handed and wondering if he'd imagined it all in the first place.

buddie‘s first fight as an official married couple, buck left the home for a while and when he returns eddie’s leaning against that door frame and goes heard your dick of a husband was being mean to you

but this time buck approaches eddie slowly, takes his face in his hands and says no one talks about my husband that way

Whatever you do DON'T IMAGINE daniel buckley watching his family fall apart from the other side.

Him watching himself be erased from existence for thirty years. All of his stuff thrown away, his home and town left behind and they probably didn't even visit his grave after his death either

Watching his parents drowning in grief and neglecting both maddie and buck

Seeing buck being a ghost in his own house and get attention from his parents only when he's injured

Maddie trying and wanting to escape from that house + her parents so much that she would run away with her controlling boyfriend, who then became her severely abusive husband

Watching his family being separated, buck moving from one place to another and never belonging anywhere, maddie being always in the palm of doug no matter where she is, whether its home or the hospital where they work together, always being watched and forced to be her perfect self, their parents being unrecognisable shell of themselves who don't really care for their children but care only for their appearances

And he can't even do anything about it, he can only watch

He wasn't even alive for ten years and this is the outcome of it

He stole all the love when he died, only left bitterness and grief to consume for his family and then his name became unspoken

But he didn't want this, he only ever wanted to play with his new brother who's face was kissed by the angels that came to collect him when it was time

And he can't do anything, he can't feel anything, this doesn't effect him

Because he is dead and only the live ones are doomed with the misery of love that was lost
