Trying to come up with something recognizable and kind of unique this time. Cage and hips should become something recognizable in the silhouette. Initially it looked even more strange, but hours of work and it looks closer to what I want.

I would like you to share something. Could you comment on your favorite missions in Strike series (Jungle, Urban, Desert, Soviet, Nuclear Strikes).
Well, for myself, my favorite is a third, desert level in Soviet Strike where you needed to send ally forces onto army of enemy striking your base. Some kind of tower defense from PSX era.

After a lot of rendering optimizations on CPU part actually met GPU struggling to render this amount of mechs. 120 fps in 4k, down from 160. Well. Maybe I should do the model simpler, 30k+ polies is an overkill.
Also I think to make much simpler model to render as a shadow cause it doesn't need so many details. But anyway it is now much better than it was before this weekend. Anyway I'm not sure will really someone do this on a real map. But they'll try for sure.

Yep, I have recreated it too. But in 3d. Not sure about the maximum speed it reaches on the top speed you can see only a shadow of it.

Shell grass implementation. Still unsure about the results. Probably will work for isometric view if keep grass short. From plus sides - easy to use masks to cut grass in specific places so it will be easy to damage the field.

Rocks are a philosophical question. Right rocks - 3rd iteration of me trying to understand how to model them. Left is 2nd. Will scrap 2nd and hope that 4th won't look better than 3d or this cycle of scrapping may be repeating endlessly
