I am so disappointed, I saw a video talking about something called "cakeverse" and by the name I thought it was fun but it was just a type of omegaverse :(

I don't want omegaverse I want an universe where all characters are cakes!

Now I want a cakeverse. Everyone has a cake smell or taste, and only true true lovers can """ate""" their love - A metaphor so that only true loves can taste something other than cake, like a hidden essence or fruit.

This makes it taboo for someone to fully disclose the ingredients of their "cake" as it would make people with bad intentions take advantage.

An example: Polites, he smells like a chocolate cake with vanilla, everyone can smell that. But, the secret smell is ""Lotus wine", and only Penelope and Ody can smell it, and when they ask "who have this smell" no one knows, only they and polites.

My fanfic "O Príncipe de Tróia"(The Prince of Troy) will be rewritten, it is published on AO3 in Brazilian Portuguese, but with Google Translate it allowed me to have readers from all over the place, and I am very very grateful. Thanks again to @bluboy404 for the wonderful idea that allowed me to write again with more commitment, I promise to commit myself even more to this incredible idea.

And suddenly I know what I have to do

"My sweet honey...?" The queen of underworld was paralyzed, for the first time, something was not in her plans or Hades's opinions.

I jump through the doors, and I'm back on the platform

There's no looking back so I make for the captain

If I can just grab him and make something happen

They'll be too distracted to check for the train

A few thin tears fall from Persephone's face, time acting slowly, as a punishment for caring so much to the mortal human. She would see him again every day, but at what cost?

He sees my approach with a moment to spare

And he twists, but I'm there so I tackle him square

In the ribs and he grimaces, spits in my hair

Now he's punching the air as we circle the drain

The youngest of the Cyclopes turned, seeing the small commotion, it was so small that he barely felt sorry for it. A lotus eater, and next to it, a human. A worried human, just as he worried about his favorite sheep. Polites manages to push the little lotus eater away so that it cannot be hurt, and for the last time, he smiles at his mentor in life.

"The kindest queen" A greeting, a way to say a simple hello, maybe a "long time I don't see you", but also... a brief goodbye.

"Stay Down!"

The queen scream, trying to be closer, but is too late.

The captain, in this moment, is just a friend, a lover, a friend of many years...just a man, a man who cries slowly and who couldn't keep the bile in his stomach, the scene was too strong, no one in life deserved to see their loved one die and do nothing. Eurylochus manages to hold the king, but everyone else ends up disarming themselves with the realization that the safe haven had extinguished their light.

Even in pain, Polites try to open his eyes a little, seeing when the cyclops falls to the ground. Laughing in pain, he knew, he always knew, everything would be okay.

On the opposite side

The little lotus eater hugged the broken and bloody glasses as he tried to get closer to the barely breathing body. Why did he push him? Where was he? Why was there blood? Why..Why did he close his eyes?

Polites could no longer keep his eyes open. Only the soft sound of a bee resided in his split head, in addition to a cry in the distance, asking not to be abandoned, to return, the two promised to return alive to the queen, the two would raise the child together with the woman of their lives. Why couldn't he just get up?

He wants to get up, he wants to be well, he wants...he wants to go back home.

And then, he was free, from all the pain and suffering of this world. As soon as his chest stopped, a scream echoed in the cave, the unconscious cyclops gave it that chance. A scream of pain, a scream of loss, a cry of losing a part of yourself.

He only remembers the smell of the flowers afterwards, little by little, meeting old friends, acquaintances, finally meeting and talking to that son he promised to raise one day. Above all, he met them again, those he swore to love, those he saw from afar loving each other without him, who never felt complete again.

Warriors are not supposed to welcome the world with open arms, he learned that, he died for it. But he simply knows that deep down he would never do it differently. And he knows that this choice is not in the moira's plan.

For no one, mortal or immortal, could have foreseen the goodness of Polites of Ithaca, a friend, a lover, a pacifist, the warrior of kindness and healer.
