Nowadays, if you need to find a number for a special something or someone, you can use the internet. Decades ago, you had to do it the old-fashioned way by flipping through a moldy oversized book.

Normally Id post this one on of my alternate name accounts on Bluesky and DeviantArt, but I liked it so much I thought I'd share it here too. Also, ballpoint pens and colored pencils just go so well together in a sketchy drawing like this one!

"A Day In The Life Of A Toon Therapist" (Comic)

Mustering the courage to go to therapy can be a challenge. Being the therapist can be an even bigger challenge!

This is a brief project I've been working on for the past several days! I've been meaning to do another, so I decided to do something a bit more ambitious!

A slice of life type of story involving one obscure character, Marvin Monroe, mixed in with several more recognizable ones that only those older cartoon lovers will recognize!

Livestream Drawings, Comics, and Rough Sketches

Here are a few sketchy drawings I've done recently over the past month or two, most of them I haven't really shared much until now. Some of these were posted on my alt account on Bluesky, and others I haven't shared outside of update posts on Youtube.

A good chunk of these was done upon request during my weekly drawing livestreams on Youtube. I've temporarily put the livestreams on hold at the moment since I've recently moved out and will have to create a new work space for those.

Vacation Ballpoint Pen Sketches

Hey guys, I've just gotten back from a week long cruise vacation, that's why I haven't posted in a while. I had a fantastic time with my family, and I definitely got a much needed break from work. But I had taken out time to get some new pen sketches in to share! The ones featured are as follows:

Ralph the Guard and the Warners in 80s fashion. Here our portly guard has captured a pop star, a Prince look a like, and a punk! Got a bit inspired after attending an 80s themed party here on the ship!

A retro one that's still a WIP of a man with a phone book and a cord and handle of a red house phone. Those of you under 30 years old may not remember those unless you've watched enough old movies.

So, back in February 2022, I did my own personal art challenge where I drew a various black rockstars for everyday of the month.

A good chunk of you here might remember a few of these! As a black artist who's always dug rock and metal, this challenge was a bit personal for me. So here is a thread of all the ones I did that month!

Ballpoint Pen Sketches on Feb 20th

Some new chaotic sketches I did of a slightly off model Hermes rocking out in a less than beauracratic setting, with a couple of slightly off model Simpsons characters mixed in with a couple lyrics from an old Bad Brains song, "Sailin On.

This song has been covered by so many punk and alternative groups, but my personal favorite would have to be Living Colour's version. Which isn't too surprising since Bad Brains was one of their influences as a group in the 80s.

And as someone who's seen Living Colour live years later, they still kill it with this song!

Since we are still in Black History Month, I thought, why not? Even though I really would have done this any month.

Yakko Meeting The Cheshire Cat

A new drawing I did during a recent livestream where two chaotic characters meet each other. A chaotic neutral one from Wonderland, and a chaotic good one from Warner Bros!

Having seen the full episode, this really sticks out! there is no reason for this scene to be here, nor was there a reason for the animators to go hard here! It's almost out of place since this show didn't do random stuff like this that often with the human characters. Granted, that's by design since it's meant to difference them from the toons.

Yet I always find myself compelled to come back to it.

P-Fluid

Real name; Peter Forrest, the original vocalist and frontman of the 80's funk metal group 24/7 Spyz. 1961-2025

With his energetic stage presence, politically charged songwriting, and his aggressive but soulful voice he helped make the group stand out on it own from the other black rock groups they were constantly compared to such as Bad Brains and Living Colour.

Since we are deep into Black History Month, I thought I would pay tribute to a lesser-known musician from one of my favorite bands, especially due to Forrest's untimely passing from a homicide earlier this past January.

Since there is no fanart out of this guy that I know of, and since I've already drawn one of the other bandmates form this group a few years back, Eddie Hazel, I wanted to do another one to celebrate an underrated musician that should've gotten a lot attention than he did.

Also, decided to use regular ol Crayola's markers for this one

Bugs Vs Thanos!

A new comic that I finally have to share for once!

This is a short "what if?" comic I did between two powerful characters from two completely different franchises! This was also based off a skeet I came across on BlueSky while back that asked what would happen if any Looney Tunes ran into Thanos. So, I did what I had to do.

Jovithor's Taxi Goat as a Space Wizard

Here's a double post for today!

What do you do when you have an early morning drawing livestream scheduled, and you've been keeping your eye on an art challenge started by @jovithorart AKA Jovithor on Bluesky? You do both of course!

This was a simple drawing I did earlier today that ended up being part of another great stream! Jovithor started a challenge where you could draw Taxi Goat in your own style, so me being who's not too proud to jump on the bandwagon, I thought why not?
