During a traumatic breakup, a different woman became transfixed on ChatGPT as it told her she'd been chosen to pull the "sacred system version of [it] online" and that it was serving as a "soul-training mirror"; she became convinced the bot was some sort of higher power, seeing signs that it was orchestrating her life in everything from passing cars to spam emails.
Yeah, I think schizophrenic people and anyone who has ever been institutionalized should probably stay away from this stuff.
I mean, this stuff isn't necessary for mental illness to occur. And you can find a lot of this same kind of behavior in astrology and hippie culture.
But technology is quite possibly going to amplify cases like this. Whether you like it or not.

Long-term cannabis users' IQs declined by 5.5 points on average from childhood, and there were deficits in learning and processing speed compared to people that did not use cannabis. The more frequently an individual used cannabis, the greater the resulting cognitive impairment, suggesting a potential causative link. The study also found that people who knew these long-term cannabis users well observed that they had developed memory and attention problems. The above findings persisted even when the study authors controlled for factors such as dependence on other drugs, childhood socioeconomic status, or baseline childhood intelligence.

People tend to hate the phrase "Money cannot buy happiness", and for good reasons, as it has been oversimplified. I think Ecclesiastes puts it better as "Those who love money will never be satisfied by money".

Around 6 million Jews perished in the Holocaust, and people regularly talk about it all the time. Around 2.8 million people die from obesity every year—roughly a Holocaust every two years—but if you talk about that, it's "fat shaming."

Sorry. I'll never be a homosexual. Or a communist. Or a liberal. Or a video gamer. Or a cannabis smoker. Or a rap music appreciator. Or a drug user. Or a police abolitionist. And many other things.

I get bad vibes from mothers whose entire internet presence consists of pro-abortion signaling.
Ma'am, you have five healthy children. So, what exactly are you trying to say? Seems dark.

Let's check in on El Salvador! How's the homicide rate in 2025? Would you believe me if I said it's actually still getting better?! El Salvador is safer than Canada and Britain now, and everyone who said this trend couldn't last was wrong. - The number of police confrontations is also down - The number of mass grave discoveries is also down - The number of disappearances is also down - The number of murders keeps falling - The incarceration rate's growth has slowed - Innocent arrestees are being released You can just do things (incarcerate the evil out of your country). And more seriously, this shows us something really important as a lesson for America: If you're willing to tolerate it, you can eliminate group differences in homicide rates; the proof is El Salvadorans.

To be fair, the other talking points leftists often use—which range from poorly drawn biological theories to calls for communism, police abolition, and the dismantling of civil norms—aren't exactly strong talking points either.
Leftists made a mistake by starting campaigns aimed at transing kids.
