When I first saw Spark, she was just a child, but even then, her eyes and mind sparked a protectiveness in me. When I met her again as a woman, she ignited something far deeper—she claimed my heart. I want her by my side forever, as an immortal Edit, but she resists my world, rejects the future I offer. No matter her convictions, I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her—even if I have to change the fabric of the world.

In a world where the future isn’t defined by metal machines, we may be overlooking the transformative power of organic tech. Just as past generations couldn’t predict the internet, we might be on the cusp of a revolution that blurs the lines between man and machine.
Take, for example, the groundbreaking work of scientists who are using DNA to store data—a concept that seems almost like science fiction but is rapidly becoming reality. This innovation hints at a future where our very biology could become the foundation for technology, moving away from the cold, hard surfaces of metal and silicon to something much more integrated and natural.
In my novel ‘Edits,’ Magnus embodies this concept to the fullest. He’s bionic, yet entirely organic—no metal, no wires, just seamless integration of tech and biology. Magnus challenges the traditional notion of what it means to be human in a world where organic enhancements could become the norm, pushing the boundaries of identity and existence.
As we stand on the brink of this new era, the question isn’t just what the future will look like, but how it will feel when the lines between biology and technology become indistinguishable.
If this sounds like an interesting topic, consider picking up my book. The coveted New York Times Best Seller list isn’t as impossible as you might think! 📚✨
To get on the list, you need to sell between 5,000 and 10,000 books in a week, depending on market competition. Many of you might have thought it required a lot more sales. While it’s not in the millions or hundreds of thousands, for new writers, especially indies, this is still an uphill battle.
That’s where preorders come in! 📈 Preorders count towards your first week of sales, so having them open for a month or two in advance could propel your book into the running for NYT Best Seller.
The catch? You have to market the hell out of your book. 🚀
In my new series, I’ll be talking about writing tips, the nitty-gritty of getting published, and marketing strategies to help you succeed. Stay tuned! 📝📖
What was the last NYT Best Seller you read? Let me know in the comments! 👇

Writing is the art of sitting down and bleeding your soul onto the page. You can’t help but write yourself into books; little pieces of you are found in every part. Your experiences, personality, and trauma all blend between the pages to make a story—one that others will read and judge. For a writer, it feels like being judged not only for their words but for their soul.
Question of the Day: Do you ever do anything that makes you feel vulnerable on purpose?

Could organic tech be the future? 🌱 When I dreamed up Magnus Faust, I didn’t want him to be made out of metal. This science was the basis for designing him primarily from organic matter. Despite being considered bionic, Magnus represents a future where all tech is organic, making our metal computers 🖥️ obsolete. Imagine technology built into us—our phones are already considered a bionic extension of ourselves because we rely on them so heavily. What do you think about a world where tech is seamlessly integrated into our biology?
