That... Doesn't sound easy at all when you put it that way.馃槄
writing is so simple. all you need is an idea, a plan, time, energy, discipline, emotional resilience, and the ability to make decisions without spiraling

I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but the fact that most of the "heat-caused / picnic caused" forest fires currently going on in my country, are known to have started in early morning hours... That makes me concerned.

Doing a bit of worldbuilding recently, and to ask for your thoughts on them, I decided to describe each of the worlds in the wirst way possible to you.
Tiria: Just plain old real world with slight flavor.
Yugenri: Regular human fantasy world with more corprate drama and interdimensional travel
Meras: Classic fantasy world, basically DND with murderous spirits instead of humans
Karinses: A world full of undead (ghosts, vampires, etc), an organization of mad scientists, and discriminated people of other worlds who'd rather deal with all that than the people of where they come from.
Umbraera: Where the heroes sealed the bad guys in, and where they started their own community.
Nihil: Kind of an afterlife after the one who's supposed to take people to afterlife has started a 1.000 year long strike.
Mirenkai: The world where no one breathes. Like seriously! The residents are either immortal elementals, or are literally made off paper.
Solium: Kind of all over the place? There are werewolves, crystalline people, humans, former celestials, shapeshifters, and always some kind if conflict that results in ahem, unspeakable, ahem, things.
Soo, what do you think of them folks? :)

Me: Alright I'm in break now. I can go back to plan out what edits to do to my book-
My Brain: How about I make you imagine your book's characters as the roster of a fighting game instead?馃槉

I love that this is the first post I see on Tumblr upon returning and how relatible it feels!馃槄
"why do you write?" because it鈥檚 the only way to silence the characters pacing around my brain like victorian ghosts with unresolved issues that prevent them from moving on.

Well I learned how to prepare a lesson plan, tried doing citations, several presentations, etc. But yeah, I finished it all! My last final was yesterday and finally Ii can be back!馃榿
I kind of forgot where my tag list is so I might need to make a new one.馃槄

People: *Making the fantasy world they'd want to live in or prefer to the boring real world.**
Me: *Made multiple fantasy worlds, and somehow made each one worse than the other-*馃槄

This is brilliant!!!
I was thinking of something exactly like this! Along with maybe a ligjthearted competetion-style plot and characters' backstories which are revealed through the game sessions as well! But mostly vibes and world building/exploring!
Concept: A fantasy story set in a large, diverse magical world which the reader explores alongside the characters. Except, the story takes place in a single room, and the characters are exploring the world through a magical kind of a Geoguessr like game where they're shown images of different lands through a crystal, and try to guess where those images are from based on the smallest details.

Me, a writer, Searching through "Dictionary of Medieval Names" for character names fitting for my Medieval or Renaissance-esque fantasy setting, hoping they wouldn't sound too out there for the reader.
The names on "Dictionary of Medieval Names" (names that are documented to have been used by real people) sometimes: English, Scott, Countess, Baron, Yael, Femina, Father, Zwentibold, Admirable, Tallboys, Ketill (kettle), Bastard
Me: Even then, naming was something else.

Same same! That's actually how I came up with most of Team Space.馃槄
Hey fellow writers! Do you also try to focus on the main characters and their stories, but constantly get distracted by side characters and their hypothetical dynamics that are only explored far, FAR later on?馃槄

Thank you for the suggestions! I did check out Canva, but most of their copyright-free stuff didn't seem like what I had in mind (and a little emberassing that I couldn't use its cover design tools ehen I tried-馃槄). But I've never heard of Pixabay or websites like that. Gotta go check! Thank you! :)
This is NOT an official cover BUT-
Hi! So I found a reference design for myfirst book's cover art, which I had made myself on Adobe Express. I won't be using it of course, especially considering the pictures used are stuff I found in Pinterest, and I'm very much amateur in design stuff. It's supposed to be a reference guys.馃槄
