Ok so the typewriter part… not completely intentional though the thought did cross my mind after I wrote it. HOWEVER there is a full on ttpd reference in that chap, but it’s also the name of a fic I’m working so like… IDK IDK I liked the idea of Reg reading a book that was actually like another version of him and James and how all their lives and different universes (my fanfic is a multiverse agenda) exist on top of each other. and in my mind all my other fics exist as other lives and versions of each other. BUT YEAH there is a straight up ttpd lyric in there. Xx

for the record i loved the new chapter but i also just finished millers girl and i wanted to say that im excited to see what other factors you pull from the movie and put into tennessee baby or if you choose to take into account completely different direction! rly im just excited to read it but pls take ur time and focus on graduating ofc, and also congratulations!! im so excited that it’s about to be summer break in a few days!!

I have to admit… I never finished millers girl because I watched half the movie at 2am and then closed it to write the first chapter of Tennessee Baby and I will probably never finish it so like I have some suspicions about how the movie ends and I think from this point on MOST of Tennessee Baby will not be similar to the movie. But maybe I should finish it 😭

Mere the new chapter was beautiful❤️ Pls don’t stress yourself about how we are going to take it (I know it’s easier said than done) but just write what you want to write because I can assure you there is a lot of us who are going to love it no matter what!!

Also, about the new chapter, it was absolutely amazing, but my favourite part was when Regulus took a sip out of James’ cup!! Idk it was so incredible and well written that I head the image very clear in my head, and I’m someone who usually struggles to visualize the scenes

honestly I used to be much more scared about what I chose to write and how it’s received but u all have shown me no matter what bs I come up with someone will like it and I am touched and eternally grateful for the support.

And also I love hearing the things that stick with u guys because the cup scene is not what I would have guessed to be anyone’s favorite and it makes me so excited to hear! Like yes ofc there’s the usual jeggy being obsessed with each other but I also want to highlight that like regulus IS a teenager and things like him being a giddy in his bedroom and taking a sip from James’ cup when he left are part of showing that so I’m excited that u liked it!

Amazing question I don’t know but probably a lot longer than I intended… I meant for it to be like 40k and a few chaps but as things do it got away from me. I’m already nearing 30k words and nothing jegulus has really happened yet so it’s definitely going to be longer… I have no idea how long exactly but HOPEFULLY not over 80k words.

but I appreciate everyone and your patience since I want these chaps to be longer it takes me longer to get the out.

I'm curious about something, do you also feel 'left out' of everything without Twitter? I deactivated mine in December (for no serious reason, I just got tired of it) and now I always don't know about things like I found out that Taylor was going to release an album on the day of its release lmao in my defense I don't have Instagram or Tiktok either, I only log on tumblr sometimes. Anyway, this feeling of being left out of things is not necessarily bad (to me), because I don't get to know about bad things and useless discourses that happen there either.

Hi! Good question. I actually still have a non-fandom-related twitter account so I see your regular run-of-the-mill pop culture stuff. I also am on tiktok a lot, so I don't feel as if I missed anything in that vein. but let me tell you at least when it comes to the marauders side of twitter I have no love or nostalgia for it whatsoever and I don't miss it one bit. All it did was make me annoyed and pissed off all the time and there was a lot of disingenuity. I am a much better and happier person now that my account is deleted and I'm not always engaging with and feeding bitterness. But, if you want to still be in the loop of pop culture and don't use other socials much, you can make a personal twitter and mute any marauders-related words or just things you don't want to see. And also, the internet has made us used to having all information at our fingers 24/7, you don't need to be in the loop and know everything all of the time. Enjoy some peace if you like it, and if you feel left out you can still participate in whatever way makes you happy.
