A new chapter is up for Rowan and Roses! Sorry that it’s been awhile guys--my laptop bit the dust, but I was able to recover my notes, so this fic should be back on track! Excerpt: The last two times Hinata had walked into the woods, he’d been stricken with fear. The woods had loomed above him, menacing and dangerous. Somehow, walking through them with Kageyama felt the exact opposite. Birds sang, and butterflies floated from flower to flower. Ferns swayed in the breeze around them, and the leaves rustled and shifted in the wind far, far above. Red berries clustered in vibrant displays in the rowan trees around them, and the air tasted cleaner than any Hinata had ever breathed. Kageyama relaxed beside him. He looked at ease beside the ancient trees. In a rare moment of bravery, Hinata slipped his hand into Kageyama’s. The witch glanced at him, surprised, but didn’t pull away. Not even when Hinata’s fingers laced between his. Pink dusted over Kageyama’s cheeks. Cute. He squeezed Hinata’s hand and led the way through the forest. And, as Hinata smiled, he could feel his control slipping, could feel the tail wagging behind him, but it didn’t worry him at all.

New season of Haikyuu!! confirmed during an event at JUMP Festa today. The event to kick-off the new season (aka announcement of airing date and other details, etc.) will be held on 22 Sept 2019, with the seiyuu of Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi and Kozume attending. (This highly suggests that Haikyuu!! S4 will air sometime in 2020 after Production IG is done with KazeTsuyo and after all the other JUMP anime that are being hyped atm have aired earlier in 2019.)

Just posted up two new chapters of Rowan and Roses, my fantasy Kagehina AU fic!

“Took you forever.”

 “I didn’t know where anything was!” Hinata complained. It was true, mostly. He pushed the potion-laced cup and one of the slices of cake into Kageyama’s hands. He set his own tea down on the end table and bit into the cake, watching Kageyama. The witch took a drink of the tea and nearly choked. Hinata’s stomach twisted with worry.

 “Just let me make the tea from now on,” Kageyama grumbled, giving him a half-hearted glare. “This is terrible.”

 Hinata let out an offended squawk. “I made it with lavender and honey just like you did!” He prayed the potion wasn’t noticeable.

 “You used enough honey to drown a beehive,” Kageyama told him, nose wrinkling. He took another sip though, and Hinata relaxed slightly. “And it’s lukewarm. But… thanks.”

Quick note: Don’t make potions out of bleeding hearts, no matter how pretty or cool they look. They are poisonous and I only painted them for the aesthetic. If you want the real recipe for the potion it will probably be in a future chapter, though. ;)

I’ve been secretly working on my Kagehina AU Fic, Rowan and Roses, and should have an update soon! Sneak peek from the chapter I’m working on: “Come here.” “I am here?” Hinata asked, confused. “Closer.” Hesitantly, Hinata scooted closer, nearly in Kageyama’s lap. Kageyama reached out to cup his cheek, his eyes meeting Hinata’s. His hand slid through Hinata’s hair, thumb rubbing behind his ear. Hinata leaned into the touch, tearing up. Kageyama should be afraid of him. He should hate him. So why…? “You were scared, Hinata. It’s okay to be scared.” Kageyama paused. “You’re not alone. And you’re not killing anyone. So breathe. I’m here. I’m not going anywhere, and I’m not so fragile that you can kill me on accident.” He huffed. “Except, maybe with terrible tea.”

I can confirm, this would 100% be wolfhearted Hinata from Rowan and Roses.

So tumblr purged my main account and all associated sideblogs, leaving me with only this account, which is separate. I still don’t really know how I’ll be using this account, but if anyone needs to get ahold of me on tumblr, I will be here! At least while I wait out the purge and see what tumblr’s verdict is for my blog. I may try to dig up some reblogs of my art posts and reblog them here, just to have them. 

I’m obviously devastated about this. I have such valuable friends and followers that I am so so sad to lose. :( I have messages, asks (both answered and unanswered) that mean so much to me. I have silly posts and conversations I can never get back, and just so much history that was purged without a moment’s notice. I don’t know what my tumblr presence will be like from here on out–even if tumblr does reinstate my reallycorking blog in response to my support request, my trust in this platform is totally gone after they ripped away my blog without any warning.
