Sufin Analysis?

OK to start of, we need to analyse they're relationship, they seem to be colleagues and they worked together in Denmarks house. Considering Finland chose to run away with Sweden, they might have a close relationship as friends and trust eachother

Apparently, Finland seems to have an INTP personality type and Sweden seems to have an ISTJ personality.

Following up with that, they might have some type of compatibility as it seems to be that people with INTP and ISTF personalities tend to trust eachother more etc.

However, there are more opportunity for ships like Finland x Estonia but I don't think they both like eachother like that. Finland also seems to only like Sweden as a friend, though its pretty obvious Sweden has some sort of romantic interest in Finland by calling him "My wife" and, almost, like, cuddling Finland when he says its cold. Finland also seems to show a slight fear of Sweden because he looks "intimidating to him", seeming to get nervous. And, whenever Sweden does something even slightly romantic to Finland, Finland tries to push it away. For example, when they went to polands house, Sweden introduced Finland as his wife and Finland replied "Hey, don't be so silly!" and such so it doesn't seem like he likes Sweden romantically or he tries to push away his feelings to stay friends

Human Name Theory.

The countries do actually go by their human names in the real world

- since the human names were adapted later on in the hetalia fandom, they used country names is the anime and manga.

The countries are actually people that are immortal, some of them don't know they're countries yet and some know that they're countries.

An example of a character who, I think, would know they're a country is England. Though he didn't know it at first, he slowly realised after all of his rulers knew who he was but never called him the "King of England" and then his rulers would act like his parents though he is in his twenties, physically, but aware he's actually hundred of thousands years old as he started counting every year going by, seeing all of the fasion styles, languages and government differentiate over time, etc.

However, there's also countries like Prussia that are partially human and partly country from all of their deaths and annexations. Prussia is aware he's immortal, but not fully aware he's a country. He's aware his whole family are countries but he still is like a human living among them. He feels pain, gets extremely ill from the cold, all of that while other countries only get ill from viruses.

(Some of the points are my headcanons so feel free to say anything!)

Polands Personality.

No one cares but like in the episode where poland meets lithuania and says "show me your cock and balls", it could've been a conversation starter as he is canonically shy when it comes to strangers shown in the manga (and anime)

However, in history there was a "union" treaty between Lithuania and Poland (it was called the Krewo Union, I think, and if anyone cares – it was before the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and existed since the 1300s) so Poland mightve known about lithuania and him coming over but in the episode, I think he was whining or crying about it but I need to recheck that, but by that I meant that Poland may have already known Lithuania slightly from the union which is why he may have started a conversation in that way but accidentally made it awkward.

When I was talking to someone about this they said;

"And it makes sense that he'd say something like that as I suppose it was a manly thing to say in Poland's mind, probably very casual too, so bro was really just trying to break the ice in a way he knew 😭

And in the episode Poland was mainly just nervous over meeting Tolys, but since their bosses probably talked to each other previously I'm pretty sure Poland did have an idea of who Tolys was, but just hasn't interacted directly that way"

in the scene he was complaining about (I think who the female character in the scene was meant to represent) Jadwiga getting married to Jogaila (the Lithuanias king guy), so he probably didn't know who Lithuania was and stuff because prior to the scene, what probably happened, was Poland just got informed of it and he couldn't imagine Jadwiga getting married to someone he didn't even know, so probably it was he didn't know who he was. He also doesn't seem to have too much human conversation because he does, from my knowledge (and most people portray him as saying), say "like" a lot which can be from him being shy or that he doesn't know how to say something which can signify he doesn't talk to people that much from not having much base on how to speak to people, it can also be the reason for why he's shy. Him starting a conversation with "Show me your cock and balls" instead of something normal like "Hello, what's your name?" can be him trying to seem manly and fit in with "outsiders", not communicating with many people can also make you shy over time.

He also seems to warm up near people he trusts and is close to, he seems to sexualize himself or his friends without knowing it sometimes? I dont know about that but, I have art (I'm not sure if it's official or not) where its him and hungary in quite a 'sexual' position, though it probably wasn't intended?

Why I think Belarus is implied Lesbian + in defense of her (originally wrote on Discord but added some more)

I believe Belarus is actually a lesbian.

As you know, Belarus is based on the yandere trope and the one she "loves" is Russia. It makes sense why this is so, because after the fall of the Soviet Union they couldn't stand on two feet economically without external help.

I will explain myself first by comparing Lithuania/Poland's dynamic to Belarus and Russia's. LietPol share the same hardships, Poland being partitioned again and again by Russia while Liet is constantly Russia's target for bullying. They had also formed a commonwealth which was incredibly successful at the time, making them equal. Though, after the fall of the Soviet Union, Belarus could not support itself on its own economically and have an incredibly weak military even in the modern day, so Belarus depends on support from Russia in both of these aspects.

Belarus' relationship with Russia is displayed as a Stockholm Syndrome situation, so this cannot be genuine attraction she feels, making it dependency rather than equals like LietPol. In case you don't know, Stockholm Syndrome is an unhealthy coping mechanism and psychological response when a victim falls in love with their captor or abuser.

Also, it should be known that while she has no canon age, she is a teenager. Throughout your teenage years you may go through embarassing phases that you would look back on and be embarassed about. I would not pass it off as "teenagers being teenagers" because of the extent it goes to, but that she may realize in the future that she doesn't really love Russia.

It's known that Hetalia countries are depicted as personifications of the people rather than the government, so you may think all of the reasons I've stated are just the government rather than the people and Belarusians do love Russia.

There are actually a lot of Belarusians who oppose their government and protest against what Russia is doing in Ukraine as of now but they get silenced by their dictatorship government. There is some kind of obligation to like Russia because they keep their country afloat, which is similar to comphet, when a lesbian feels obligated to be in a relationship with a man while not being attracted to them to fit societal norms.

Hima is no stranger to LGBTQ and there are plenty of interactions between male characters that would make you think they're dating, and Hima has also shown Taiwan flirting with Belarus. You could say this is one-sided like SuFin, but with how Belarus is I would like to think otherwise.

In conclusion, I think Belarus is a lesbian and her "crush" on Russia is a façade, or comphet. She doesn't actually feel romantic love for Russia and is suffering from the effects of Stockholm Syndrome.
