Draco Malfoy is 15 the first time he’s kissed by Harry Potter. It was a quick peck, one formed from hesitation and desperation at the same time. They had merged, blended into one, twisted its way into the two boys. Draco was aware that Harry may not have actually liked him per say, perhaps he was experimenting, or maybe this was all some big, cruel joke. Even though he could be ruined by this, Draco is so happy. He’s been chasing after the sun for years, searching and failing, because the stars don’t align with the sun. They never have and never will. Maybe this makes him a fool, it probably does, but who knows. Harry could be the moon when no one’s around, a secret, hidden in the dark and tucked away from the sun.

Draco was 11 the first time he saw Harry Potter, and from that moment, he never looked away.

Punctuating Dialogue
