Idea For A Conspiracy I

These are just theories through the mind of a conspiracist.

-Spoilers- (Maybe)

The focus of this theory is on the plot/story of The Promised Neverland, a story created by Kaiu Shirai. It is important to note that this is not the mangaka (manga artist) real name, but his pen name. His/her birth day is also unknown. From the Wikipedia, the pronoun "he" is used so we will go with the that idea. This information will become relevant as the theory goes further into the rabbit hole.

The story follows Emma, an intelligent young female protagonist, and two (3) of her closest family as they unravel the veil of their existence. It's a story of children that are grown/harvested as food for the now demon society. Through clever understanding and critical thinking, Emma, Norman, and Ray discover hidden messages throughout the libraries of Grace Field House. As the story progresses, the trio and family follow the path layed by the message in the codes. From here to experience their journey its best your perspective becomes the reader.

As I read through the chapters of the manga, watching as they decipher code after code; a thought came to mind. "What if this whole series was a hidden code for the reader?" The manga heavily focuses on hidden messages that would require a level of understanding and knowledge most don't have. In reality, secret societies have been using symbolism and other forms of encrypted messages to hide things in plan sight. Why not have a little clandestine literature hidden within its own literature?

What could the hidden message be? There were four things that created this rabbit hole:

I - The creator's identity is anonymous. There could be many reasons for this, but I'll go with the one that fits the conspiracy until proven otherwise.

II - William Minerva. A mysterious man that indirectly helped Emma and family to their freedom. His existence was not the clue, but his title and position within his clan. He was born James Ratri; the 35th head of the Ratri clan and overseer of "The Promise".

III - The theme of the plot.

IV - Lastly, the most obvious ending message that basically gives away the idea that the manga was intended to have a message within the message. (You will have to read the ending to understand this one)

Explanation of Clues

I a - The narrative that fits the conspiracy is that the creator chose to hide his identity to avoid the possible backlash he would receive if the hidden message was used against him and not for its intended purpose.

II a - The position and title of the Ratri clan functions like a presidency. James Ratri is the 35th President. 35th President in our reality was John F. Kennedy. His assassination has been a staple of conspiracy. After James had been murdered, his brother took over to restore order to align with The Promise. JFK's position was quickly filled so that the underground order of business and "The Promise" goes undisturbed.

III a - As you know, the theme is that demons and humans have been working together to harvest children for the demons consumption. And, the method of any hidden message is to disguise the message as something that can't be deciphered by first glance but by clues around it. What if the demons were representations of the pedophiles and the society of pedophiles hidden amongst us. Children of the "farms" are shipped off at the age of "12" and considered ready for consumption by the demons. There's a possibility that JFK knew about this underground cult of pedophiles. During the 1960s - 1970s was considered the Sexual Revolution; while the 1950s gave birth to the most popular sex symbol and "orphan" Marilyn Monroe. (Research Marilyn Monroe's life and career as well as info on her mother) I believe that the rumored close interactions between JFK and Marilyn Monroe; lead members of the cult to believe that Monroe may have informed JFK of their agenda by way of sharing stories of her youth. The Promise is to be overseen by leaders of the Ratri clan or "head of state" and that it's secret is to be kept amongst the founding family and a selected few to ensure order.

IV a - The message at the end blatantly gives you insight on the current affairs of our reality at that time. I believe that this serves as a marker to show that there is a relation between the two worlds (our reality and the world of TPN), just like the Human world and Demon world in the story. But like most clandestine literature, the relation is hidden amongst the story.
