"Unse hume nhi kehna chahiye tha Humare dil ke alfaaz, abhi pehle ke jaise woh humare saath haste kaha hai, galti keh kar hum khud ko suna rahe hai, ki ae dil bhul jaa uss khubsurat si hasi ko woh teri nhi ho sakti tu tham ja mujhe wapas se uska dost ban ne de, jo sapna dekha uske humsafar bann ne ka, woh haseen sapna, sapna hi rehne de."

Hindi :

"उनसे हमे नहीं कहना चाहिए था हमारे दिल के अल्फाज़, अभी पहले के जैसे वो हमारे साथ हस्ते कहा है, गलती कह कर हम खुद को सुना रहे, की ऐ दिल भूल जा उस खूबसूरत सी हसी को वो तेरी नही हो सकती तू थम जा मुझे वापस से उसका दोस्त बनने दे, जो सपना देखा उसके हमसफर बनने का, वो हसीन सपना, सपना ही रहने दे।"

English (translated) :

"I shouldn't have uttered the words of my heart to them, since now they don't smile with me anymore, I tell myself it was a mistake to do so, that oh this heart of mine, forget that beautiful that can never be yours, please hold yourself back, let me be their friend again, that dream you had of having them as your soulmate let that beautiful dream, be a dream alone."
