Sneak Peek: Dean and his alpha had been talking on the phone for the better part of a year now after meeting online where they’d been following each other for a while before that. What started out as a game of commenting on each other’s personal posts and faceless selfies turned into a conversation in the tags and replies, moving eventually to DMs where they’d often send each other more risque posts with embarrassingly horny captions attached, and then they evolved to exchanging phone numbers. Their initial conversations were all negotiations and figuring out what worked for them, and then a few dick pics were exchanged and things quickly got smutty, leading to phone calls such as the one Dean was currently breathing heavily into.

“Thank you,” he said breathlessly, as he did after every orgasm his alpha gave him, save his last one, the one that got him into this mess in the first place.

You’re also blithely unaware of the fact that in January 2021, Tumblr user missnumber1111 posted, "today's agenda: gaslight gatekeep and most importantly girlboss." And then I think it was a-m-e-t-h-y-s-t-r-o-s-e, wasn’t it, who reblogged it with an image of the phrase edited over a piece of "Live, Laugh, Love" wall art? And then gaslight gatekeep girlboss showed up in the feeds of eight different Twitter repost accounts. Then it filtered down through Instagram and then trickled on down into some tragic “alt side of Tiktok” where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin. However, that meme represents millions of notes and countless Tumblr users and so it’s sort of comical how you think that you’ve made a choice that exempts you from Tumblr when, in fact, you’re wearing the meme that was selected for you by the people in this room. From a pile of “stuff.”

All of the fics from the Once Upon A Bang event!

Once upon a time, in 2023 to be exact, a pair of friends decided to host a fairytale-themed bang. It would welcome all fandoms and probably be quite small! Or so they thought.

A year passed and the bang turned out to be much larger than either of them had anticipated, with close to 100 authors signed up! The two friends rolled up their sleeves Cinderella-style and searched fandomland far and wide for artists.

As the months passed and the event grew closer to artist match-ups, many of the authors chose to take a different path, leaving 42 who needed partners for the ball bang. A group of 26 brave artists claimed the lot, many of them illustrating for fandoms they'd never heard of.

The authors and artists worked their creative magic. And then one day, it was time to post! For three weeks, they shared their new creations with the world, and this event that had been two years in the making came to an end. But a happy one.

"Gabriel, I'll need to call you back tomorrow," he said into the receiver, his eyes unwavering on Dean. "My last meeting is here. Yes, of course. Until then."

Dean knew better than to sit in either of the guest chairs facing Castiel's desk, or on the small sofa placed off to the side. He stood at attention in the middle of the room, eyeing Castiel in his peripheral vision as his boss hung up the phone and got to his feet. Castiel came around to the near side the desk and leaned against its forward edge, buttoning his suit jacket and crossing one ankle over the other as he studied Dean closely.

"We're the only ones here?" he queried.

Dean nodded. "Yes, Sir. Ms Banes was the last to leave about five minutes ago."

"Good," Castiel replied. He tilted his head slightly to one side, eyes sharpening as his gaze traveled to Dean's feet and back up. "Kneel."
