New work for @arrowvideo! I vividly remember that True Romance was one of my first 18-rated video rentals back in the day. I loved the classic 90s film then, and still love it now I’ve revisited it, so it was amazing to get to make this, and work with Arrow for the first time. Of course Quentin Tarantino wrote the screenplay and it was the next film he’d written after writing and directing Resevoir Dogs, so I also remember all the hype at the time, even though the late great Tony Scott was at the helm. Such an incredible cast, and that unforgettable Hans Zimmer theme/score! This is the back and front of the actual steelbook. See previous posts for more info. Will share the back cover soon. Like any other 80s kid, I grew up hearing David Bowie’s music and seeing him regularly on film and television my whole life. As such I feel very grateful to have been able to pay official tribute to the late great legend. Huge thanks to ECHO and the Bowie estate for making this possible.

For my piece I thought I’d celebrate several of his iconic personas and stages of his career, from Ziggy Stardust to Blackstar, via The Thin White Duke and others. The title of the piece is ‘The Sound of Light’. It’s going to be an 18x24” screenprint and as well as the main edition, there are rainbow and gold foil variants (previewed above), plus a pearlescent option exclusive to the subscription series, which gets you all the prints coming this year from ECHO.

Poster for The Companion, a premium sci-fi app that’s coming to the end of its Kickstarter campaign (two days left at time of posting).

It’s reached its funding goal, but you can still back it to get a print. Season 1 of the app content will be focused on the 90s, and I had a (laser) blast making this and revisiting some of my faves, and discovering some others I didn’t get around to at the time!
