I come from a lifeless neighborhood with no color other than the color of blood and destruction.

I was born in 1991.

I'm a girl from a family of seven boys and six girls, and I'm the youngest.

My mother and I live in a house left to us by my father. I studied at university and graduated with a degree in basic education.

I worked in a private job.

I received a salary that covered my and my mother's expenses as much as possible.

We were happy until the war came.

The war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023.

Here, hell began for us in Gaza. I lost my job and became unemployed. My mother owns nothing, and I own nothing.

My mother was displaced to the southern Gaza Strip for 15 months. I didn't go with her. It was months of longing for my mother and siblings.

My brothers Mahmoud and Ashraf stayed behind.

We were displaced several times because I live in the Shuja'iyya neighborhood, a border area close to the army.

During the displacement on June 27, 2024, we left the house and raced along the road to escape the shells and planes. Then came the lightning strike. The shock was that death was faster than my brothers could escape...

Here, here, we lost our loved ones. I lost my brothers, the apple of my eye, Mahmoud and Ashraf. Mahmoud left no children. As for Ashraf, he left behind his sons who grieve, and my mother is in pain because they departed to God without a farewell, without a kiss on their foreheads, a farewell kiss. After a while, we returned home. The house had been severely damaged by demolition and stones that had fallen from their places, which used to shelter us and protect us. Now, nothing protects us except some worn-out tarpaulins that do not protect us from the heat of summer or the cold of winter. Our suffering is great, but with your help, we may reach a better and dignified life. I appeal to you to help me support myself, my mother, my loved ones, and my family. What you provide makes a difference in our lives as individuals.

We live in a world that has forgotten the meaning of humanity and giving. May God bless you all.

It’s been over 600 days—and these recent days are the most brutal we’ve faced. We are suffering from extreme hunger. Our bodies are exhausted. We can barely walk due to lack of food.

On top of that, there’s constant bombing, killing, displacement, and fear. Every minute, people are being injured or killed.

To be very direct:

All the crossings have been closed for over three months.

Everyone here knows: food supplies in Gaza have run out.

People are starving. Some are fighting each other out of hunger.

The occupation set up so-called “humanitarian aid centers”—but placed them in dangerous combat zones in Rafah, far in the south.

We live in northern Gaza. No aid reaches us. They tell us:

“If you want food, go south. Go to those centers.”

But how can we? It’s death waiting there.

We asked people who tried. We were desperate. My father told me,

“We have nothing left to eat. Your little sister can’t bear the hunger anymore.”

So I made a painful decision.

A friend and I went south—hoping to bring something back.

We spent the night in the streets, waiting. In the morning, they said aid was coming. I was so hopeful—just to bring back one loaf of bread, a grain of lentil, anything at all.

And then the horror began.

As we approached, the Israeli tanks started firing directly at us.

It felt like the end of the world.

People were killed in cold blood—while they were hungry.

We tried to escape, we were surrounded. I even filmed a short video of us running, trying to survive. You can hear the bullets flying above our heads.

I survived—barely.

But I came back empty-handed.

My family was waiting for me—hoping I’d bring just one thing to eat.

When they saw I had nothing, the disappointment on their faces broke me.

I cried. Not from fear. But from helplessness. I tried everything—and still failed.

Believe me, friends—right now, I don’t want anything from this world All I ask is to raise enough to buy a bag of flour. Just one.

So I can feed my family. So I can see them smile once—after all this sadness.

Right now, the price of one flour sack is $500.

That one sack can feed my family for a whole week.

Please… I need your help. I can’t go back to those deadly “distribution centers.”

I won’t risk death again.

With the recent closure of the crossing reaching over 75 days now, so we need to raise funds to obtain food which is all priced exorbitantly due to the closing of the crossing. This closure has ceased the delivery of food, medicine and supplies into the Gaza strip. As a result, my daughter Lana has developed a serious case of Anemia. Due to the lack of healthy food in Gaza, my son Adam developed malnutrition which later evolved into Anemia. Fares is also malnourished, and the children often get ill because of the contaminated water and lack of healthy food, and the detrimental environment. The goal of our fundraiser which is 10,000€ will cover the expenses of food and healthcare, and also our daily needs, and supplies. im talking about this here because i need to let this off my chest. but i went into a trade program for lower incomes. and today, without any warning, we were cut off. the entire program was shutdown NATIONWIDE. leaving so many people without some sort of income, or homeless, or forced to return home to abusive households that they were trying to escape. there are so many people who lost so much in ONE DAY. please understand that so many people are now left with nothing. this was a trade program for people who wanted to LEAVE POVERTY AND ENTER FIELDS WHERE THEY HAD A CHANCE!! and today it was STOLEN. and then to add insult to injury. staff members who are going to LOSE THEIR JOBS. are still stuck there for two more weeks while being forced to find something else in such a short notice. no one. and i mean NO ONE. was given a proper fair warning. please dont leave us to be forgotten.

We lived through this massacre in all its painful details, and we're still in pain 😔. We were very happy when the ceasefire was announced, and we returned to our homes in northern Gaza after being displaced for a year and a half in a tent in the southern Gaza Strip. After we fixed a small room in our destroyed house to live in and start over, unfortunately the war returned stronger than before 💔. Now, we have no shelter and no source of income. We exhausted all our savings during the war. I know that I started my campaign very late, but that's because there is no other way to help my family 🙏. I am completely confident and optimistic that someone here will help us as much as they can and save my family in these difficult circumstances 😔.

I know that the feeling of starting from scratch is painful and frustrating, but I hope to receive any amount for my family 🥺🙏.
