So I'm asexual and on the aromantic spectrum.

I've gotten a little jealous and sad watching my friends get with people over the years and would like to have a partner. But I'm also terrified of relationships.

I think someone likes me. They're giving off a vibe, I can feel it, I'm so certain. And as much as I spend time wanting to be with someone, the idea that someone may like me and may potentially ask me out terrifies me and I can see myself saying 'no sorry' even though I want something.

It's so frustrating and I don't know why I think like this :(

I'm currently working on a thesis essay for my undergraduate degree and a major part of the paper is about the LIfe Series!!

I'm currently collecting data for it and I'd greately appreciate if anyone could fill this quick module about it, i need around a 100 submissions to make it valid!

literally though if you feel like your life is slipping through your fingers and every day goes too fast… try doing hard things, not just taking the easy route, like reading and making art and exercising and cooking a meal from scratch and journaling, doing these things without distraction, without being absorbed on a screen… the time will stretch and you’ll be reminded that life is long and beautiful if you make it so.

I would probably help them start over, but i’d give them whatever unshareables i can emotionally afford to part with (favorite object, job if i had one, but not my partner) as for friends and family, I would try to incorporate them into my life best I could. If she wanted her own lif that’s fine, but in the mean time for all intents and purposes i have an identical twin now who all my friends are also friends with.

If i was the clone, i would fine this pretty fair. I would be upset to have all these memories of things i couldn’t keep ofc, but i’d be more mad at whoever made me then the og who didn’t ask for this and is doing her best to give me a good life at her own expense
