Yes, that part was derived from their book, but I wrote everything else. You‘re absolutely right! I did ask for permission before posting it, tho, and as for credits, I‘m adding them as we speak (couldn‘t find their Tumblr, and then I accidently posted it instead of adding it to my drafts, and then I forgot. So sorry!)

Hi lovelies

I bring to you another post today (yay two posts in one day)

So if you've been following my stuff for a bit, you know I headcanon House as autistic 99% of the time (the other 1% is when I forget to mention it lol)

Now I've been told by multiple friends of mine that I have a certain way with words that is so cruel it can be beautiful (I am autistic, too). I now present to you: Gregory House writing the most disturbingly beautiful poetry for Wilson without realising that normal (take that with a pinch of salt) would find the things he says absolutely horrifying. As an example:

You know what I think?

Before the infarction, House was an athlete. I think that while he has the same amount of anger issues and hatred in him (hint hint Daddy Issues), when he felt it all bubbling he’d just go out and run a few miles and come back when he felt better.

The reason he’s so bitter after the infarction is because his only outlet (at work; music it obviously and outlet too but he can’t take his piano with him), the only thing that was able to ground him when his emotions were taking over. So of course when he feels his emotions get the better of him, the “unfeeling, cold-hearted maniac”, he’s going to turn to verbal violence

And honestly, I understand him. I hate the days where my Fibromyalgia gets so bad that I can’t move my fingers enough to play the piano, because that means that I’m left alone with my unvoiced thoughts and no way of expressing myself.

I bet he feels worse than that.

I used to have braces for like 5 years (fixed ones, like the full-on metal-dishrack-in-my-mouth ones) and I had to have these little bands to reposition my jaw (had a bad overbite), and those little bands were hooked on these little metal rods on top of my braces (welcome to fucking european braces, americans. i wasn’t blessed with those fancy coloured bands on every. single. brace.)

I always sleep on my side so I’d often wake up with one side of my cheek chafed open by those little metal rods

I got my braces taken out like, three years ago, so I haven’t felt that specific type of pain in a long time
