While lounging at home, I have been wearing oni horns from a 100 yen shop. This has been going on for a few months. They suit me oddly well, no matter what my hair is doing or how I'm dressed. They are comfortable.

They feel like a natural part of me, like I was always meant to have oni horns.

I stress again that I have always loved the oni aesthetic, be it silly and oafish or elegantly portrayed in folkloric shoujo manga.

Anyway, I did just walk outside with them because I forgot I had them on.

it's almost exam season!! (early june) i've already been barely writing, so sorry for that, but from now on, this is going to become permanent until after all 4 of my (literally 2 hour long) exams are over, and it's also my first year doing this LOL. don't worry though!! i have a very long, detailed fic planned out that i plan to start writing/posting as soon as i exit my science exam, a modern au with dkt and reincarnation and 11 whole arcs (this isn't even speaking about a planned chapter amount) and all that fancy stuff that i think i'm really going to enjoy writing over the summer, if it's not hindered by that summer project TT. i'll also be writing for @shinazugawa-bros-week-2024 at that time, so honestly this reincarnation/modern might get pushed back oops- BUT WILL BE WRITING AS SOON AS SUMMER STARTS.

Final Selection is pretty dumb tbh. I think it should be much more monitored. They should pit the students against captured demons in a much more controlled environment and have Hashira or retired Hashira overseeing so they can step in if it’s not going well. That way they can evaluate and say “‘kay, here’s what you did wrong, this is what you need to work on, you can try again next year” instead of just sending a bunch of kids to die. Or at the very least, there should be a few trials like that before actual Final Selection. Because sending a ton of kids into a demon-infested forest for a week when the majority of them have never actually fought demons before in order to see if they can fight demons is just…both unnecessary and cruel, lbr
