If you know me, you know how much I love Bitmojis! I use them almost all the time whenever I’m texting or tweeting. I just wanted to share their Valentine’s Day edition ones w you! Hello everyone, & Happy Almost Valentine’s Day! It’s been A WHILE since I’ve posted on here. Things have gotten way busy with school & my new internship (which I will talk about in another post). However, today I will be showing you my most recent Forever 21 Haul. I went to their store during their clearance sale on February 4th. Lightning in a Bottle Day 2 was my FAVORITE day. Our whole group was on the same wavelength the entire day, and there was such a strong feeling of connection. It’s always so much better having connectivity and familiarity within yourself because it makes you feel comfortable knowing you are accustomed to the environment you’re in.

On this day, Nate and I did some morning yoga with our new friends we met day 1, those who call themselves the Kamel Krew. They’re such a fun group of people. Not gonna lie, I cried during one of the chants at yoga because I felt the power and it affected me in an emotional way. Yoga always gets me. The very first time I did yoga at SunSpark Yoga with my friend Anita, I cried there too. All of these tears were out of joy. After yoga at LIB, we got some refreshments from a stand called Giggle Juice. Nate got iced mate and I got a drink called Tiger, which was fresh pressed orange, sweet carrots and ginger juice. Drinking it tinted by lips as if it was a natural lipstick! Tasted so good, refreshing and gave me energy for the day.

Here are just a few pictures from Day 1. Lightning in a Bottle was truly an experience that showed me what it really means to work together. Life HAS to be collaborative. Everything is done better when working with others. From simple things like putting up the tent together for the first time without my Dad’s help with Nate, to surviving 12-hour-long days walking, dancing and exploring around the entire venue, unity is extremely important. I have never felt so connected to the community around me until I went to LIB. One of my favorite things was the daily sunsets. Every day, when the sun would start to go down, it would only take ONE person to start howling, which would lead to almost everyone at LIB howling at the sun together. We all got to channel our inner animal, and we got to project our voices as one with the Earth. We aren’t just humans. Every single person has potential and carries their own purpose. Everyone brings their own uniqueness into the world, and whether they know it or not, it is greatly appreciated by those around them.

Last week, I went to a 5-day-, 4-night-long art & music festival called Lightning in a Bottle. I’ve gone to many different events before and I KNOW how tangled my hair gets even after one day. SO, to accommodate for that, I decided to get my hair braided by the talented Dylen. I heard about her through Camila’s Instagram because she always gets her hair done by her. Dylen worked her magic and transformed my hair to the hairstyle of a majestic unicorn. She gave me medium-sized individual triangle braids with colored synthetic hair. It took 4 and a half hours! However, that didn’t bother me at all, considering the fact that we got to watch four episodes of 13 Reasons Why. Ever since I got my hair done, I’ve been getting endless compliments throughout Lightning in a Bottle and even up to now, my co-workers and customers keep complimenting me at work. The good thing about these braids is that I did not have to dye any of my hair to get the colors I wanted, and they are able to last 4-6 weeks. Thank you, Dylen!

Thousand Steps Beach in Laguna with my love for Saint Patrick’s Day. Picked a spot, set up our towels, and took a really nice, refreshing nap on the sand. It was a much needed relaxation day for the two of us after working so much, alongside school. Then, we enjoyed a delicious lunch at Urth Caffé. Nate got a super good personal pizza, and I got a salad in a tortilla bowl. For drinks, we decided to get ourselves some coffees to wake ourselves up again. We were so full because we ended up finishing everything! If you haven’t tried Urth Caffé yet, you definitely should. They have 7 locations ★~(◡ω◕✿)

Found a cute little boba café in Downtown Fullerton called Café Bing. Dripp was getting busier and more crowded, so I decided to change the scene. Café Bing is really spacious, has a cute couch against the wall, and a lot of tables. They have drinks and desserts. When I first got there, it was pretty empty. However, as it got a little later, it started to fill up with more people. Even then, I was able to concentrate on my own work since I had my headphones in. Upon leaving, I ordered a HORCHATA SMOOTHIE with boba. Super good! Perfectly reflected regular horchata, just in smoothie form ( ･_･)♡ 

I definitely recommend this place! The one I went to is located here.

Celebrated Bre’s birthday at Banana Bay! 21 club, & my first time eating Thai mango sticky rice. Went during happy hour. Two of the same drink for under $9! Such a steal, especially because they’re in huge glass cups filled to the top. The green drinks I got were called Tsunami (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

Women’s Day at my sister’s church was on Sunday, March 12, 2017. Everybody looked absolutely stunning. Also, the food was super good. It was such an experience being able to listen to the other ladies’ testimonials. So proud of everyone who helped put together such a successful event. Women are so powerful, & life would be non-existent without us here. So be proud to be a LADY.

Woke up at 7 AM, got to the beach at 10 AM to find it was completely foggy. It felt like we were in a movie. We could barely see sights that were only a few feet away. It wasn’t until an hour later when it started clearing & heating up. The weather was absolutely perfect, & I actually got tanner!

For those of you that didn’t know, I have an older sister named Khamille. We are 2 years & 5 months apart. We haven’t lived together for years now, so seeing each other & hanging out is definitely a treasure ＼（＾○＾）人（＾○＾）／

On this day, we met up for lunch, ate Poke at The Poke Co., which is our favorite Poke restaurant. They have huge bowls, equivalent to frozen yogurt bowls, & they fill it up to mountain over the top. They add the toppings for you, but there is an additional topping & seasoning station at a self-serve table right after you pay. Super good & super filling. Then, we went thrifting at this hole-in-the-wall thrift store called Stray Cat Vintage in Downtown Fullerton. Their store is OVERFLOWING with amazing, cool stuff. I definitely recommend checking that place out. After that, my sister & her two friends took me back to my apartment, where I showed them some of Nate’s music & taught my sister how to shuffle a bit (the running man). Aye, aye, aye.

On the first Friday of every month, my friend, B, who is a part of a production group called Lost & Found, helps put together a show at Holiday in Costa Mesa. The first Friday of March was the first time B was a part of it, & the first time my friends & I went. Dag Broz, Patrick Dylan, & The Perfect Gentlemen played that night. It was great because they played house & techno. Those are the genres of this event. House & techno, & what’s better than that? Minico came over to my apartment at first and helped me get ready. He put together my outfit, then I drove us to Holiday. We waited in the parking lot for Javs & our other friends. They pulled up when Minico was putting glitter on all of us. When they got there, Minico put glitter on them too. It was all so much fun & we were all sparkling so bright! When we got inside, we started dancing & walking around, seeing everything & starting to get familiar to the place. At one point inside, I chilled at the bar with Javs & them. It was a lot of fun, & also chill. After that, we went back to dancing on the dance floor. I met a really cool girl named Alyssa. Before we left, I got her instagram. Talking through instagram messages, I found out that she is a DJ herself too! We left at maybe 2 am. Minico, Macksun & I chilled at B’s new house. There, they were messing around & playing with hulahoops. I was starting to doze off, so I left & went home. Was a really fun night. Wish it wasn’t just every first Friday of the month. (づ￣ ³￣)づ
