Had this dream about this nasty little fairy creature that sat on sleeping people's chests and drank their life forces, delightfully called Mister Coal Legs. Don't know what it was I saw/ate/did before bed to produce this, but I liked him enough to try and draw him. I think this is fairly accurate. Like any good parasitic entity, he tries not to kill the host. He doesn't like to go hungry. He can however be appeased by leaving out a dish of bread and milk, in which case he'll be grateful enough to consider leaving you alone.

Still on a bit of a salty tirade about Jurassic World. The thought of a sequel has angered me. How in all the years of technological and scientific progress can the dinosaurs LOOK WORSE. Especially terrible was the big bad hybrid, I originally just wanted to address how poor the design was. You could potentially have all sorts of fun with genetically engineered mutants, and all they came up with was a poundland plastic knockoff t-rex.

Anyway, looked up what it was actually a hybrid of. Therizinosaurus? Carnotaurus..? Literally the two body plans utterly cancel each other out. Carnotaurus was a lightly built, fast moving predator with slender limbs and a weak jaw. Therizinosaurus was a potato. You could argue that other elements from other species would correct its flaws, but I thought it was fun to capitalize on this.

So, enjoy. This is my re-vamped indominus. I still think she’s pretty.

I promise this is my last word on the matter. Normal service will soon be resumed. Got some sweet new pencils to try out, now the days are getting better I’m feeling like some lovely nature stuff.

A little dimorphodon for some fun, and because I was recently reminded about the Jurassic World version and how upsetting they were :L dimorphodon is round and fun, not pointy and sad.

Based on a memory I have when I was around thirteen. Exploring some old waste ground that backed on to the field we lived next to, I found some sort of unfinished outbuilding that belonged to a nearby carpet warehouse, made of concrete and breezeblocks. Inside I found a vent hole filled with hibernating peacock butterflies. Beautiful and surreal.
