That is a sad reality about the social life in the society. I encountered one of my classmates is a special need who wanted to appreciate by the people. But, no one appreciates him because in not just of his / her works because of his uncontrolled behavior . I really do understand his feelings because of his health being mentally unstable.

So better appreciate yourself , not other people.

My Favorite Plate: Soil Painting

This is also my first time in having a soil painting but similar with the skills of coffee painting. Soil painting was discovered by Waway Saway that was based on the youtube video. I learn about how he uses the soil painting. Before I started working, I had an exercises in which it I do the values of the soil color. I have a different types of soil colors that my mom gave it to me last week. Some are found in my garden while others that came from in the backyard of Talisay City Hall. Some of the colors are similar but others are not. It is usually have 2 dark soil and one is the white soil.

The experimentation of its soil into the pigment is first I pound the soil in using the mortar and pestle then, I use the sieving in separating the to the cup so, the small rock or the rest of the small trash left on the sieving. The second process is that in mixing the soil, water and glue. The first thing that I did was I stir in using a stick in mixing soil, water and glue. Honestly, put 1 teaspoon of soil and add a little bit of water, then pour a little bit of glue and mix it well when it turns out like a paint. I had also a little mistakes in using the value of the color because when I do the same process it's like it doesn't work so I realize that I will control my brush in using the water to create the light value.

I chose the place that could only fit the soil painting is Banaue Rice Terraces because this was my favorite places of the beautiful spots in the Philippines. It's hard to draw every time I paint, I always feel tired and slow but I tried to pain it correctly. I use the sponge in creating the small rice grains in the terrain. In the final process, I only use glue as the binder in order not to have crack of the soil that I paint. Therefore, I learn how to control in using the soil painting.

First of all, I research about those materials and techniques will need you for your project. If you feel nervous of what you are going to do about your studies, just breath in and breath out. Try not to be overconfident with your studies. You have to think, draw and explain how the artworks looks like. If you are unsure about your study, just make your another study. That's all
