i didn't want to put this on the concept art for an animated cats movie post proper, because i wasn't sure if it would be considered debbie-downer-ing, but as interesting as the designs and concepts are, it doesn't actually surprise me that the movie never got made when you look at them all together. it looks like they were having a hard time figuring out just how anthropomorphic they wanted the cats to be (which is one of the things that fucked up the live action cats movie)
