Spoilers for Leaks

I swore to myself I would never speak of the leaks until the show came out, but a few things that I want to talk about.

“I can’t believe Rosie would do that!” Serious question, but what don’t you believe? That an overlord would own a soul? At the end of the day, she is an overlord, and the very concept of overlord in the show is fucked up. Valentino isn’t the only bad overlord. The only reason a lot of you categorize overlords such as Val or Vox or sometimes even Alastor as “bad” is because their shitty actions actually affect characters you care about.

All overlords are shit. Anyone who owns another person or takes autonomy away from someone else is a shit human being, so I don’t understand why people are shocked by Rosie not being a great person.

Also, another thing-

“I get why Alastor was kidnapped but what the fuck do the Vees want with Angel?” What wouldn’t the Vees want with Angel Dust? Angel Dust has the biggest connection to the Vees out of anyone at the hotel with the exception of Alastor? In fact he is the only one in the PRESENT DAY, that regularly interacts with both the Vees and the hotel.

Sure, he is shown to only interact with Val, but because Val is business partners with the Vees, and considering it is implied several times that Vox doesn’t like him, and Angel knows he doesn’t like him, it isn’t completely out of left field to think that all the Vees would want something with Angel.

I’m Hazbin Hotel season 2, I want at least a couple episodes like 1x06 where Vaggie and Charlie are dealing with serious business pertaining to the exterminations, while the other members of the hotel literally go spend time together and go on their own mini-adventure together.

I’m sorry, it would’ve been so funny if that person said, “Oh, well it’s a good think I’m a Byler” lol

The way the mileven stans are so irritated by the Bylers is kinda funny. They will go out of their way to complain about Byler and call the shippers delusional, especially when it has nothing to do with the current conversation. Like, did Byler kill your grandma or something?

Vivziepop announcing the new character to those fortunate enough not to see the leaks.

I hate when someone says that they dislike Glinda or say she’s a bad person, people are always like, “Oh so you haven’t seen the musical, you don’t know what happens in part 2, so shut up.”

Because I have seen the musical, and I still think she’s not a good person. I like the character and I don’t think she is irredeemable, but I still don’t think she is a good person, nor do I feel like she ended the show as a good person. Maybe a neutral person, but certainly not good.

In fact, I would say some of the shit she does in act 2 is worse than the shit she does in act 1. 🤷‍♀️

Personally, I like Glinda because she is crucial to the themes of the story, and I also ship her with Elphaba, and I recognize she feels bad for her actions by the end of the show. That being said, feeling bad for what you’ve done doesn’t always absolve you of being a bad person.

And yes, she has made some progress, but again, I would say by the end of the show she is at best neutral, and she hasn’t necessarily done enough in my opinion, to be considered “good.”

I’m sorry, but some of the people who shit on the Hellaverse are just really trying too fucking hard, and it’s like… just go watch another fucking show?

I’ve seen several people post pictures of their Spotify Wrapped and it’s mostly Hazbin Hotel songs, and they are seriously crying over it and posting “🤢”. If you hate the show fucking much, why are you listening to the music? It’s way more embarrassing to listen to things you don’t like and things you regularly complain about on the internet then just admit you like something “cringe.”

Also, the obsession some of you have with saying, “I want xyz to happen in the show” and then quickly following the response up with, “But it’ll never happen because Vivziepop is a bad writer.”

Do you people not realize that sounds pretentious as fuck?

Because heaven forbid the one thing you personally want doesn’t happen, it’s bad writing? Because the only way to write the show well is to write it just as you would?

Also not to be rude, but while Vivziepop is not a great writer, some of your guys’ suggestions for the show or how some of you would write the show, are just ass.

Idk, it’s kind of annoying that people who clearly enjoy the show feel like they can’t enjoy it without specifying that they think the show is garbage or the writing is bad.

It suck too, because a lot of genuine criticism for the show gets drowned out by people who just nitpick and hate the show just to say they hate the show.

Idk who needs to hear this but someone having a different opinion on a character or having a different interpretation of a piece of media than you doesn’t mean they “lack media literacy” or they “missed the point,” and if you genuinely believe that it does, then I would consider your own media literacy skills.

The Wicked movie’s success just goes to show what happens when you market and cater movie musicals towards actual musical fans instead of trying to cater to people who don’t like musicals.
