Here’s my life update for the past few months because I totally disappeared. 😬🥲‼️

Forgive me 🙏

Junior year kicked my ass. But hey! I’m a senior! That sucks. That makes me really anxious but it’s cool I guess. Junior year was definitely my hardest. It was full of just..so much work and so many days without rest. But it’s over, finally.

The Wizard of Oz happened. This was definitely the most fulfilling experience of my entire year and I’m still riding the high. (Lowkey) It was the number one reason I became completely inactive on all socials, I was just so busy. I was the stage manager, choreographer, and sound manager, but basically became co-director with my teacher, and got so much recognition and praise for all my hard work at every show. It was wonderful. And it’s only gonna get better from here. ;)

I got a job. It’s not much, just a summer job, but money is money.

My play I wrote won a state wide playwright contest! Another one of the biggest things that’s happened to me lately. I wrote a play back in October about internalized homophobia, suicide, and gay rights/issues. It was turned down by company after company and publisher after publisher mainly for this reason until May, when I was announced as a winner of a statewide contest. This summer, they’re bringing me out to Richmond to direct my play in a festival. So excited. I cried for days over this.

Umm, that’s probably about it. Thanks for giving me time. I’m hoping to post more this summer. ☀️
