Cats are truly wonderful. I never thought I would like them so much before I adopted mine. But now that I have four of them, I see how lovely and unique they really are. I love how each of them have their own personalities and needs, and how much they love me back. I would do anything for them, and having them helped me feel much better about my life.

Why can't I ever just sleep more than eight hours uninterrupted and not feel exhausted when I wake up? I don't know why I have chronic sleep issues. Maybe I need to change my daily routine, like that'll ever happen...

I feel like with most online modern "criticism", whether it be for movies, video games, books, or whatever, it's just turned into nothing but hate and negativity. Self-proclaimed "critics" will even resort to attacking the work or even the creator themselves if they don't like it. They often can't articulate why they criticize something, other than them not liking it and it being "bad", acting like their opinion is objective fact. And, they've forgotten what the most important part of a critique actually is: Simply analyzing it and suggesting how it could be improved/do better. It's like bad punishment methods, they will punish the work yet don't offer any alternative on what to do instead. It's just depressing to see everyone hate on everything I like, no matter what it is...

What's with bad parents using the fact that their children are currently unemployed as an excuse to put them down any time they complain about something? I've only been done with school for barely a month and my mom is already harping me about getting a job and acting like I'm a failure who's done nothing for ten years. And she even brings it up in situations where a job has nothing to do with it (like if I say I'm sad and sleep-deprived). I get that she has a job where she makes money to take care of me with, but that's not an excuse to put down my issues. I'll get a job sooner or later, I just wish parents were a little more accommodating about how their children get them at their own pace.

Playing a game that isn't a gacha live service one feels so good again. There's actually an end in sight, with good pacing and gameplay that doesn't rely on min-maxing/farming/gambling. It feels good to experience something new that makes me feel something emotional and isn't miserable to play at times.

In a neglected corner of an area threatened by invasion, a small tent stretches across a dusty, uneasy land.
