Does anyone wonder why it was such a random number of people that they saved? 412 survivors. If you look at season 4 EP 12, it's called the chosen. The chosen to save the human race. The chosen to survive.

I love how, after all those years, all the fights and all the tears, to Monty, Clarke and Bellamy were still the ones in charge. The ones that were to save them, just like in the beginning.
