Ideas to come
It seems to me that the timeline about the locations I’ve been going to might be relevant. For instance, I think it is interesting that the site where the wonderful view is that I found (doubtless already a well-cherished place) for myself is now also home to a sign that labels the nearby site of “Charles ives cabin.” When I first started hiking up that part of the trail there that sign wasn’t…

All good thoughts
My imagination is a very bold and wonderous thing. Sometimes, I am able to somewhat grasp just how complex the experience of living every moment really is…to singularly define the parts of the whole. My own view of what I am living and how I am living is always different from what another person thinks is happening and what is going on in my own head. That is what makes life so AMAZING. I could…

Mirror Neurons
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am fairly sure that what people are referring to as being “empathic” has to do with mirror neurons. Whenever we try and relate to another person, we un-knowingly mimic them in their body language and emotional level so as to communicate more effectively and make them feel more comfortable. This does not happen nearly as often for those that do not know how to socialize well, of course, as…

My Own Time to Spend
My Own Time to Spend
As everyone already must know, we are more likely to discover the most brilliant minds and the results of their work after they die.  Well, since I now know the “type” of person that I find matches my own taste and ambitions, I see this fact as being less negative, and more positive.  Chris Cornell was a brilliant person, and his musical taste tends to have matched my own.  Now that his life’s…

Reflections on Birds
Tumblr media
Sometimes it takes another person I follow closely to fully reveal his or her intent so I can feel secure in the path that I choose for myself instead of feeling that I need to defend every possible avenue so they do not encroach on my territory.
Now that I am fully secure in knowing what someone I knew does not want, I feel free to explore and fully immerse myself in my own interests.
I love…

I am there
Tumblr media
When you feel that you need my help
No matter where you are, you can find me.
When you know I am busy, and then you see a bright red bird fly by
I am there, showing you that you are on the right track
When you are wondering if you should be anxious about something
And then a group of crows cackles nearby
Then stop what you are doing.
Nature is our most formidable ally.
She knows who we speak with

The Day the Music Died Wave Goodbye, by Chris Cornell, is a big tear jerker for me. He wrote this song in tribute to his friend, Jeff Buckley.

Public park
Today, 2/28/18, I heard something really great. I was at my favorite hiking spot and two girls were talking about how popular this place is now so there should be a garbage can.
That means that this place is gaining popularity even in winter. I am officially proud to have brought so many people up here.

The biggest question that I have is, what would happen if we started from scratch?
When I say scratch, I mean get rid of all of the constants that we take for granted everyday.  The same constants that we never even question, we just simply figure that they must be right if everyone else is using them.  That is the same attitude someone else could say of lemmings.  If everyone else jumped off of…

Consciousness
Tumblr media
As Eugene Wigner says, “it was not possible to formulate the laws of [quantum theory] in a fully consistent was without reference to consciousness.”
Tumblr media
Combining eastern mysticism, physics, and consciousness will undoubtedly lead to a new form of scientific thought… A vision of nature that transcends traditional views of thought and language. Perhaps in the future the truth of this knowledge can…

Confirmation Bias
I should edit this for general readability and I will eventually.  I just had to get j6 thoughts out there.
Every aspect of every experiment or even every social encounter that we have is similar to leading the witness as in a courteoom. We are all guided and see the external world through our own subjective biases, just as we frame experiments and or everyday events in our lives.  Every time we…

Psychological games and tests with christopher Nolan and Darren Bousman
http://screenprism.com/insights/article/in-the-saw-franchise-what-are-the-philosophy-and-motivations-behind-jigsaws
“Darren Lynn Bousman, director of Saw II, Saw III and Saw IV, characterized Jigsaw as vastly different from the killer in any other horror story. “He’s not Jason or Freddy. He’s not even Hannibal Lecter,” Bousman says. “He’s a person with extreme beliefs and he really thinks he’s…

Implanting images into another's mind
Implanting images into another’s mind
Tumblr media
Scientists are able to translate what a person is seeing in their own mind into a video on a computer screen from MRI data, and also translate a video into MRI data.
What is stopping us from transmitting what we are seeing via MRI data to another person to allow them to see what we see?
The following quote is from the following link,
