Hey, all, a PSA! Or something.

I am going to be deleting this blog. 

Everything that it initially was about- Shameless, Teen Wolf, etc.,- are things that I no longer make myself a part of. I appreciate all the friends I've made through them, but unfortunately, I either need a new start, or to leave tumblr altogether, as the things that have happened recently have completely exhausted me of this blog. It's supposed to be a haven, not a place where you get attacked for posting an opinion. 

So, I don't know. Some of you, I'll refollow.

yeah, i just found out about that whole shitstorm. I just find it pretty shitty that they're targeting me as if I was a shitty person, because they've followed me for a long time and I'm pretty sure they should know at this point in time that I'm not an elitist. Like, I'm not Ian Bohen, I don't support that he essentially called all the fans that watched it early shit, and I don't know why anyone would think I was like that. 

In his/the actors' defense, they're going to panic about a leaked episode because if an episode gets leaked the fans might not want to watch it again later, which would affect their ratings, possibly drastically, and that's going to make them freak out because the ratings ensure that they have a job. 

I don't know. The leaked episode nonsense is just bull shit and everyone needs to get off their respective high horses about it. :/

The other day when the leak happened, I made a couple of small posts that a followerfriend of mine took extreme offense to, and after attempting to explain my point, and explaining that those posts were made right when I was in the midst of frustration due to a fanbase that has been continually shitty, they sent me a fanmail today essentially saying that I was policing people on how to run their blogs, that I was shaming people for downloading the episode (WHICH JUST LET ME SAY: I do think it's lame that people can't wait a few days to watch it air, because I'm a generally patient person and have issues with people that can't be, but that doesn't mean I think you're a shit person if you downloaded it?? My post was literally right when I was angry at the fandom and I was flipping off people asking for the download because I really didn't see what the problem was with waiting a few days for it and yeah but whatever some people don't think the same way about it as me and I get that now that I've thought it out??) and just being outright rude and acting like I was actively scoping people out that had watched the episode early and took a shit on their pillows. Also they said something along the lines of "why do you get to say what people post on their blogs" which is pretty funny because that's essentially what they were doing to me. 

I don't know. I'm angry and not exactly thinking straight right now so I'm essentially saying "fuck you" to that person and I might regret it later but right now I'm just ssooOOOMAD???

P.S. if someone says something that offends you, kindly approach them and say "hey this is why this upset me" and have a decent discussion about it, don't bash and shame them and make them out to be a terrible person because there's a good chance they didn't mean to be as demonizing as you took it.

i won't be watching it, i won't be blogging about anything in the new season, or anything like that. really, a large chunk of the fans are shitty, and yeah.

In A Bind: YOUTH in NEED of Chest Binders

For transgender (affirmed male, female-to-male & genderqueer) youth having a proper chest binder can be a life-saver - both mentally and physically - I know for me it was. Many transgender youth (under 21) lack the support they need from their families and many are not hired for jobs because of gender identity-based discrimination - this makes it impossible for these youth to get the binder they need and deserve. Many trans* youth suffer from gender dysphoria - the intense hatred and discomfort towards their biological bodies - making a chest binder an absolute need and instant prevention from suicide (as many youth cannot afford chest surgery). Giving a binder will boost the confidence of transgender youth in need and allow these youth to better function in society.

This overwhelming urgency for chest binders is a crisis. Not having a chest binder can contribute to the severe depression experienced by many transgender people. The suicide rate for transgender people is estimated to be a shocking 41%. (Source Below)

In A Bind, a non-profit project under TransActive Education & Advocacy has 1,401 youth on their waiting list. Not enough donations are coming in and they were forced to close their waiting list. It’s time to raise the money we need and provide youth with chest binders. 

Our goal is to provide at least 100 youth with new binders from underworks. Each binder is about $30.00 including shipping. That is $3000.00 needed. Good news! The Frank Cassata Family Foundation will match whatever money is raised during this virtual campaign. If we raise $3,000 that means we have raised $6,000 - that is 200 new binders for youth in need! 

Ninety percent of donations received will go to buying binders for disadvantaged youth.  The remaining 10% will be used to cover the shipping cost.  All binders will be sent to youth on the In a Bind waiting list.  In a Bind accepts applicants age 21 and under from all over the United States.  There are no rules or qualifications around who applicants are or how they identify.  All we ask is that people only apply for a binder if they need one to curb dysphoria (ie, not just for cosplay or performance).  For more info, visit inabind.transactivonline.org

An update: I now have two weeks until pay day, no commissions, and 41 dollars. :c I start work on Monday, and will be working roughly 40 hours a week. Which'll be great, once pay day comes around, but 41 dollars is going to be hard to make last with gas and food, running back and forth from work, and any medical funds I may have racked up.. If you could spread this around for me, it would mean so much to me.

I know I’ve already made a post similar to this regarding commissions, but I have some actual numbers in regards to my money situation. 

After the transactions I’ve had to make in the last couple of days for my living-on-my-own situation go through, I’ll have 61 dollars. I still owe 100 dollars for my rent this month, and I won’t be getting paid until August 30th because of medical related issues that have kept me out of work for a month. More about that here.

So! I somewhat desperately need commissions, right now. The pictures above are just quick, 1 hour drawings that show some things that I can do. They’re not the best, but they show off something, at least. I don’t think I’ll be charging anything more than 5 dollars for one of these, and that’d be what I’d charge for something like what’s in the top right. Anything from 1-5 dollars is what I’m comfortable charging, but if you want something more detailed, we can discuss price. c: I also write, so if you want a fanfic or something like that, we can talk it over! so a scary thing happened last night in my town

there were sirens and everything going off this morning and apparently two of my coworkers were trapped in their apartment because there were cops with loaded guns and K-9 units keeping everyone inside because this guy was on the run

turns out this 19 year old kid murdered his girlfriend, and a bunch of other stuff

according to my aunt (who is a credible source because she's involved with the law enforcement groups since my uncle's on the fire department) the girl was revived with cpr- i don't know how she's doing but she's alive at least

but holy shit this is??? this is actually really scary wow
