When San said he and the guys were going out drinking I just told him to have fun, I don’t mind him hanging out with his friends, in fact please do. I knew I’d probably have to pick him up from the bar, he is a lightweight when it comes to drinking. I was just hoping he’d go out and have fun with the guys and stop worrying about work so much, how he looks, how he sounds, if his face was clear, did he look bloated, he ate too much. I just wanted him to have a good time. As he got closer and closer to the day of the team dinner he kept dropping some not so subtle hints asking if I wanted to join.

“The guys love having you around too.” he said while we were cleaning up dinner.

“I know.” I smiled. “I like being around them too.”

“And you know if you’re just going to have to pick me up anyways.” he pouted a little.

“Sannie? Do you want me to join you for dinner?” I looked at him growing tired of the little run around he was doing.

“I mean if you’re free you might as well, and you can have a few drinks and-”

“All you had to do was ask.” I cut him off. “If you want me there that badly I’ll be there. I don’t think I have to work terribly late tomorrow.”

“I love you.” he smiled and kissed the top of my head. “I just don’t think I’ll have the best time I can if you’re not there.”

“I already said I’m coming.” I chuckled and pecked his cheek. “Help me clean the rest of this up.” I handed him a plate.

Of course I ended up running late, I had to finish up some paperwork and lost track of time. I’m sure they’re already at least a few bottles in….lord knows what I’m walking into.

“JAGIYAAAHHHH!!!!!!!” San exclaims and the rest of the guys join, seeing me walk into the building….Oh Lord.

“Hi Sannie, how much have you had already?” I walked over to see the table of about 7 empty bottles. “Have you each had a bottle?” I chuckled.

“They started before I got here.” Yunho said still very sober despite the 2 bottles in front of him.

“Jagiiiiii” San whined.

“Hi baby.” I smiled and leaned down to kiss his cheek but he wasn’t having it nor was I allowed to have my own seat. He pulled me into his lap and kissed me like he’d never see me again.

“Look how red she is.” Jognho pointed out.

“Not as red as he is.” Seonghwa commented.

“I’m fine! I’m better than you are.” San said, looking at Seonghwa.

“Here have a few.” Wooyoung handed me a glass and I took it with ease. I don’t know if I’ve ever been drinking with the guys before but either way this night was about to get interesting.

“No no, I’ll stick with two.” I held my hand up as Wooyoung tried to give me a third shot. “I have to drive us home.”

San pouted but loosened up as my hand started playing with his hair.

“You got a pretty lady boyfriend?” he smiled.

“I do, he’s probably the most perfect being on the planet.” I chuckled. “He’s kind, loving, handsome, knows how to take care of things, he’s funny.” As I spoke San’s face dropped.

“Ooohhhh, you have a boyfriend??” he frowned. “I wish I had a girlfriend as pretty as you….why are you sitting in my lap if you’re taken? Do you want to cheat on him??”

“No…Sannie…it’s you?” I chuckled and patted his head.

“Me?”

“Yes….” I sighed. Oh god. “We’ve been dating for 3 years pabo.”

“He’s so drunk.” Wooyoung laughed at my boyfriend whose face was as bright as a tomato at this point and had definitely passed the one too many point a long time ago.

“I am not.” he frowned looking at Wooyoung. Gosh he’s pouty when he’s drunk.

“You’re clingy and drunk, what if she has to pee.” Wooyoung kept at it. I see…pouty clingy drunk and chaos drunk…never good together.

“We’ll go together.” San argued back.

“Clingy.”

“No! In love! Sorry you losers don’t know what that feels like.”

4. Where do you find inspiration for new ideas?

ooohhhh... it's definitely a mixture of listening to music, watching films, and browsing through pinterest. TSP was heavily inspired by some of my favorite movies ( Last night in Soho, Chinatown, the Third Man, etc. etc. ) but also little, random things like my actual real-life academic pursuits in law and psychology, and also . . . seeing a random poker hand while looking at drawing references and learning that this

is called the 'Dead Man's Hand' <- you can see where TDB got it's logo from. after that, things just spiralled.

34. Five years from now, where do you see yourself as a writer?

Hopefully a better one! If you'd asked me this question five years ago, when I was just starting to create my original works and languages and characters, i'd have said 'published!' but since writing isn't what i want to do as a career ( and I'm not an English major, god forbid ), it's a hobby I'm letting myself take slowly, and take my sweet time to develop :)

1: Anything on rosie or rebecca?: I got some stuff! I'll do Rosie first. Just like the series, she's got a little crush on Thomas when she's younger and Thomas isn't having it. Lol. She is a tomboy, but still enjoys girly stuff too. As she gets older, she grows out of her childhood crush and her and Thomas remain good friends. She matures into quite a graceful, strong, and respectable lady. Unfortunately, I don't have a design or much info for her yet. But hopefully soon!

Then we have Rebecca! She's definitely interesting! I based her design off frilled lizards and sunflowers! She's the youngest out of the female characters! Probably just in her teenage years!

Rebecca crash landed on the island and claimed that she was traveling with her clan there. She waited for days for them to show up. But they never came. Now, Thomas and his family couldn't possibly let such a sweet dragon get abandoned like this. So they let her into their clan! Rebecca shockingly got very attached to Gordon. And vise versa. He becomes a father figure to her. (In fact, he ends up adopting her eventually!) Rebecca reminded him of his younger sisters whom he loved.

2: How about anything of the narrow gauge engines (they're my favs) like proteus, luke or stanley/smudger? Who’s your fav?: I love them and they definitely in here! They're the Mountain Cave Clan! A clan of small ground dwelling dragons! With Skarloey as their Patriarch! There's tons of them! From well known characters like Duncan, Peter Sam, and Rheneas, to obscure extended family! And Proteus is actually their guardian spirit! I'm still figuring out his role and powers, but just like in the series, if you can find his lamp, it will grant you a wish! But you have to pass a series of trials and tests to even get your hands on it! (Oh, and Luke was my favorite when I was a kid! I loved him!)

3: Are ya gotta add any aeg characters like bruno, sandy or kana? Kana’s gotta be a speedy queen: I think so actually! I've seen a lot of AUs with Bruno as Henrietta and Toby's kid and OH MY GOSH YES. That's adorable.😍 And Kana is definitely there! She's Kenji's little sister in this! I'm not sure about Sandy yet. But she seems cute. So maybe!

I actually ended up liking nortalice when Fool's Gold was announced XD

I realized that this is how she sees him while on the drugs and I was like 'oh dang wait a min he is a hot crumbled up statue of david with only the head, neck, and CHEST ALL INTACT, WAIT A SECOND LOOOL'

and then everything that has both Alice and Fool's Gold there she is just chillin, looking like its just another game of hide and seek and tag like HUH LOOOOOOOOOL, just not worried at all lol The only time she looks remotely wide-eyed with concern is when Norton is eating that bread and chuggin that milk LOL

She was more concerned with the raven/crow that suddenly appeared than the massive pickaxe zooming past her twice LOL

Alice able to help Norton piece his morals back together and not hate the human world or obsess about money cause he is no longer in survival mode with her. and then Norton able to help Alice not put herself in harms way and offer assistance and help her enjoy the present moments. Alice seems constantly in thought, but seeing Norton just staring at the sky, she would want to enjoy it with him. kind of stuff ;;

They can both be quiet together and that is just the most pure thing ever to me ;;

Merlin speaks more languages than Arthur, lol. he was weirdly well educated for a peasant to start with, and then was studying with Gaius (for a given value of studying, at least), and he's got the dragonlord thing going on. so he's got english, the language of the old religion, and dragonspeak already.

i love the idea that he just acquires languages very easily. he picks up latin and greek when Gaius keeps bullying him into reading medical texts, strengthened by snooping around in the library under Geoffrey's nose. maybe picks up some french/gaulish/whatever it would be in that handwavey time period, lmao.

*claps hands and stands on my soapbox* SO. Jadele death oh boy.

So after Janette’s first death in the burned down church, she woke up in the woods around the town (she didn’t die from being burned to death, she was able to get out into the woods but the smoke got in her lungs :(() and seemed apparently fine! She was technically alive but she realised that some creatures called Sprites (the main creature the church/cult worshipped) had infected (?) her.

Sprites are little spirits that contain literal life inside of them and when an animal/person is dying, they’ll go into that person’s bloodstream/brain and starts filling the body back up with life, turning that person/animal’s blood blue. That being can still control its body and think for itself but they’re running on literal spirits (haha alchohol joke idk)! And that’s what happens to Janette! She then realises that when she cuts her skin, little blue flowers grow out of her skin looking for sunlight (papercuts scare her/hj) and they have thorns and she can feel the pain of then growing!

She has to stay out of the town because of this since people see Sprites as demons/evil spirits and believe the beings resurrected by them are like zombies. So she ends up staying in her friend’s house (her friend doesn’t and would never snitch on her) and has to hide from everyone for like three months. She starts coming up with a plan to get revenge (kill) adele and realises that with the flower curse, if she gets injured while trying to kill adele (which is most likely) she’ll die as well and ends up being like “ i have nothing to live for anymore so I’ll die and bring Adele down with me”

After three-ish months, Adele goes to ‘investigate’ the burnt down church to try to prove she didn’t commit arson and Janette chooses that time to try to kill Adele. Not entirely sure how this would play out but a fight happens and both of them have a gun (AMERICA!!!!🦅🦅 head in hands lmaoo). Janette ends up getting shot in the chest (near her heart) and she’s like fuck i’m going to die and she runs foward to hug adele. Now the sprite flowers can grow through anything in search for sunlight (including human flesh cough cough) and they grow out of Janette’s wound through Adele like a kebab kinda. Janette also kisses Adele cuz the blood can transfer the flower curse as well huaghhh kiss of death i’m insaneeee and they both lie there dying in kind of a hug since they can’t untangle the vines and flowers that are connecting them

(and josh is the first one to discover their bodies uhh)

saw a gifset of belle in adam's library and it got me wondering, did she ever manage to read Everything in there, even the ones she didn't care for simply because it was something New, or did she end up ditching a few ?

ooohhhh i LOVE to think that she does EVENTUALLY read every one of those books. even the ones in greek! because belle definitely learns how to read & write in greek And latin. eventually.

she definitely blazes through a lot of the books very early on, and yeah she does find some duds that are harder to get through, and it turns her off of That library for a week or two, but she’ll always get back to it. it’s HER library now!!!!!

she’s also just so busy in general like my gosh adam truly has no idea where she finds the time at all. she manages to do so much work as queen, while attending events with him, WHILE being an amazing mama and spending lots of time with their babies, and still being the most iconic wife of all time to HIM!!! it’s like ??? genuinely where does she find the time to read. adam can barely get a couple chapters in at night before he’s tired or his time is interrupted by his wife or children. (and he’ll always give all his time to them, anyway, so he’s always happy to set the book aside.)

BUT SO IS BELLE!!! SO IT’S LIKE??? but the thing is, with belle, i think she’s a bit of a speed-reader. and i talked about this in another post but like i think her and adam do have a little book club between them, where they’ll read the same book and then discuss it at the end of the week. and every time adam asks about it during the week, belle’s like “OH YEAH !! 😅😅 totally didn’t forget !!” clearly having forgot, but then SOMEHOW by the time they’re supposed to talk about the book, she’s managed to read at least most of what she needed to, if not all. it’s very wild and impressive. just as she is 😌

so, yeah, i like to think that by the time she’s old, she’s read pretty much every single book in that whole castle. because ya know, that library isn’t the ONLY library. it’s just the main big one. there’s also another smaller one in the west wing, and there’s books in every drawing room and study and bedroom too. like ?? my goodness.

i could definitely see belle taking Some of these books and distributing them to new schools that start cropping up amidst all her dedicated work on the education system. adam protests about this at first because “those are OUR books >:( !!!” but belle reminds him how much books meant to them BOTH when they were lonely little children, and she promises not to send away any book they truly love, and eventually he concedes and starts helping her find books to give. the kiddos (probably teens at this point) help too. as well as sebastian! who eventually becomes the castle librarian. don’t remember if i mentioned that but yeah that’s a thing <3
