Building a new boat

I prayed last night. I bargained and begged on my knees, head to the ground that this would not happen. I feel tired beyond words. I cried to my fathers, why. Sometimes a/pep wins. Sometimes the two lands are invaded and torn. The barque is destroyed. I don’t want to go to shrine. I don’t want to give offerings. But now, I have to more than ever. I have to get back up and ask Ptah “where is a hammer?” Ask Re “how long do I cut this wood?”, bring the whet stone to sharpen Sets spear. Because the netjer need us and we need them. We need to look at each other and ask “do you feel safe?” Ask our neighbors what they need. We help rebuild ma'at as we rebuild the divine barque, and we rebuild it here by holding onto and helping each other. Sometimes isfet wins. But let us grab our hammers and hands and rebuild a bigger, stronger better barque and society.

So in a bit I will put on my whites, purify and pray/senut. Because building a boat has to start somewhere.

I just had an ask but I thought of somthing, ever hear of the Buddha Board? I use spring water for sigils and it is AMAZING

Oh yes! I want one just for funsies, but your idea here has inspired me! For those that don’t know, a Buddha Board is a board that you paint on with water, and then the water evaporates/dries/generally disappears after a couple o’ few minutes and you can paint again! It would be excellent for sigils, you’re right!!!

Hhm. The scanner washed out my light colors so I had to do a bit of leveling in photoshop. It did turn out pretty nice, still. 

I gave him more of a green palette to make it different from the Khonsu portrait, another god associated with the moon.
