Hello! I hope I’m not a nuisance here by typing this out to you, but I’m struggling to change self. Not for just like what I actually desire, but it’s for like everything. I don’t feel any different when I accept something or even when I ask myself “what would I feel if” I’m able to come up with answers, but i still feel nothing. This also just keeps me in cycle where i can’t even get past the first step. Does the feeling come later on like a long after i accept it or i thought it was suppose to be right after or am i just doing something wrong. I’m also struggling to believe that imagination is the only reality, which I don’t if that prevents me from feeling.
the feeling which neville speaks about is not equated to emotion. feeling is of a deeper substance. everything is feeling. you are you because you feel to be yourself. it's the feeling of reality. you do not have to feel a particular emotion about it. in fact, emotion is subservient here. you can daydream and feel ecstatic, but if you don't feel the reality of it, then it is futile.
you can try an exercise like this: look at an object in your room, take in its reality - it's there, it's tangible. now close your eyes and imagine something lovely for yourself. try to feel its reality like you felt the object's. it's there, it's real - just like the object in your room. this means that the scene you are producing in your mind - you need to think FROM it, not OF it. just as when you are, say, dreaming - the scene isn't present in your objective world, but nevertheless, you feel its reality.
when you exercise your imagination on a regular basis, i assure you, its reality will become more tangible for you. you'll start seeing everything as the fruit of your imagination.
“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.” Habakkuk 2:14

daily reflections #5
Let go of control. This is one of the most important realisations you can have.
You've likely encountered the following: you want something really bad. You imagine the wish-fulfilled. You're fulfilled for a second. But then you start checking the outer-world. Is it here yet? Why isn't it here yet? What can I do to make it come? You're unfulfilled again. You couldn't trust in your imagination. You resorted to fear and the need for control.
You might be inclined to imagine again and again and again in hopes of actually realising it. You're not actually fulfilling yourself. You're not trusting. You're coming from fear and anxiety, not acceptance.
Developing trust can take time. An understanding of the law and regular practice of it aids your finding of trust.
It can be discouraging to imagine for weeks, months, years, decades and not see results.
The time it takes your assumption to become fact, your desire to be fulfilled, is directly proportionate to the naturalness of your feeling of already being what you want to be, of already having what you desire. (Neville)
It will come about in a natural way. In such a way that at first you might not realise it was your own imagination the induced the event. It will come when you least expect it.
Naturalness is achieved through the state of wish-fulfilled and persistence in it. This doesn't mean compulsively imagining at every minute, but rather achieving a state of mind where you trust in it. That is the naturalness Neville is speaking of. Success or failure is entirely in your own hands.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalms 23:4)
Even though you might endure the worst circumstances, you will fear nothing for God (self, imagination) is with you and will comfort you. This is the point of this all. To feel good. To curate a paradise within yourself. Fear nothing, as it is all you.
Whatever happens outwardly, let it be. Just fulfil yourself within. And know, in peace, that this inner-fulfilment will inevitably lead to outer-fulfilment. But the outer-fulfilment and the "how" is not important right now. Right now it's important to merely feel the loveliness of self. That's what brings true happiness.

Hello, i just discovered you and I'm instantly hooked, honesty you're the state i wanna be. so i came here to ask where do you exactly study Neville's law? Is there websites or books?? cause i really wanna understand and get deep in his teachings
hi!!! welcome!!!
my favourite resources:
all of neville's works indexed - i've been just going through everything from the beginning since june from last year (and i'm only at "The Power of Awareness", so there's A LOT). if you're new here, though, it might be a bit difficult to understand his works going from chronological order (i remember when i first discovered neville, i could barely understand half of it lol), so i'd start from "Feeling is the Secret".
neville's books - this is where i like to read his books, the format is more comfortable for me compared to other sites.
he has a TON of lectures and for those i don't have a specific site, they're mostly available on the first page, but you can also find other formats and websites which might be more comfortable for you. you can pretty much find everything in pdf, audio, html and epub form.
the YouVersion Bible app - i like that it gives you daily verses and i love contemplating on them every day. this is definitely not necessary as neville showcases so many bible verses in his works, but i just like to use it as a daily reminder.
edward art subreddit - this!!! i really recommend, especially if you're a beginner. if neville becomes too dry for you or you feel distanced from the law, edward art's works will help TREMENDOUSLY. he's just spot on every time.

I think I try to imagine from my current self which makes things hard for me to assume. I’m not able to let go my current state, how can I move states then? I constantly feel myself to be single and feeling myself in a relationship with sp seems fake/unreal/lying to myself. I’ve tried various methods to feel the wish fulfilled, but I only get anxious…
You're blocking yourself. It's all you. Ask yourself why it is so. Why do you not give yourself your desires? Consistency helps as well. Read Neville, meditate, try to thoroughly understand the law. Once your mind is used to imagining, it'll be much easier.

How to deal with intrusive thoughts? I also have a hard time with my imagination it always feels like I’m just fooling myself. How do I stay motivated?
I think what makes intrusive thoughts especially "intrusive" is the blaming of self. Do not blame yourself! Quietly resolve. You had a thought you didn't like. Ok, and? If you don't want to think that thought then imagine something lovelier.
Once you understand that consciousness is the only reality, then you won't have that feeling. The rationality and objectivity of outer-world is an illusion. Free will doesn't exist (fun fact, neuroscience has caught on to the fact).

Hard circumstances + staying in the wish-fulfilled is hard. And I'm not saying this to discourage you, but to praise you. Most people would probably give up much sooner. Struggling in the outer-world, but continuously trying to find yourself, to stay grounded - I think it's worth praise. You should be proud of yourself for not giving up.
I've been struggling as well (and I'm saying this as I know a lot of you think of me as someone who has mastered everything - I assure you, even as I've been studying this for almost 3 years, I still struggle and I would say I haven't mastered anything). I have days where I'm so stuck in the outer-circumstances, I find imagining well and staying grounded excruciatingly difficult.
But, truth be told, whenever these days happen, when I'm incredibly bothered by the outer-world, it's merely a sign of what aspect of myself I just need to better within. The law isn't just about "getting", it's a whole lifestyle encompassing your whole mindset. It's not merely a tool, it's everything.
There's really no going back once you commit to this law. Your whole perspective changes and once you're really in, you can't really go back to that old perspective filled with lack. You could be outwardly struggling and may be tempted to think that maybe this law isn't "real", but when you understand this law, you'll shortly realise that even if it were all fake, imagining the wish-fulfilled is the best thing you can do. And just through logical deduction with consciousness is the only reality (which is a statement with which I really cannot find an adequate counterargument), your imagination really is everything and everything stems from it. And you can prove that to yourself.
So, really, this isn't about giving up. You can't give up the law. You're exactly where you need to be right now, in order to truly rise up. You're having to endure what you're having to endure because you have yet to resolve this within. Your SP is not reciprocating, because within yourself you have told yourself this narrative that you're perhaps unworthy of their love. You're experiencing this because it's time to resolve.

It’s really been months studying info abt loa and applying states.. idk why I’m still struggling. It’s supposed to be as easy as breathing but all I feel is anxious. I really need help.. :( it shouldn’t take months and years to manifest an sp right.
I reckon manifesting an SP is what people here struggle most with. After all, there is so much focus on SPs in the loa community online. And I think why people struggle is because there is usually a lot of emotional attachment towards the person. Therefore, it might be hard to detach, to let it be. You might feel that if you don't get them, then you'll be utterly depressed or perhaps it's hard to keep up a good mood, if they're not complying outwardly.
What you'd benefit from is learning to let the outer be while you cultivate a heaven inside yourself. You cannot force anything. You can only change your assumptions. Happiness comes from within. So, meditating, cultivating mantras for yourself, creating these moments for yourself where you can detach from the outer and focus within help. Tell yourself it's okay if things physically don't go your way. You can just imagine within a better world. You live your whole life through your imagination anyway. The world shall eventually conform.

I get a bit scared when people say you go to another dimension where you have your desire, what does that mean? Are your litterally leaving that world/3D and going into another? and just leaving your family behind, that scares me
nope, you're not changing dimensions, you're changing mental states and the world remoulds itself to your state :)

I think reddit discourse is a bit depressing. Although there are great stories there, but a lot of the time it is " it took me 6 months to manifest this double chocolaty chip crème frappuccino yay!🥺💗♾️😍" and that makes me disillusioned
Yeahhh, i honestly don't bother to read much on the Neville Goddard subreddit. I've found valuable help there whenever I've had trouble interpreting something Neville has said, but other than that I don't like it much. Much like I don't like a lot of loatumblr, because A LOT of the posts are so focused on using the law as a technique to get things, rather than as a whole lifestyle.

Daily reflections #3
I can of mine own self do nothing. John 5:30
I know a lot of people (myself included more or less) struggle with letting go of the "getting" and focusing on the "being". A need to force something into being, because you want something so much. But truth be told, you cannot force anything. There is nothing for you to do.
It's impossible to force anything into being, because creation is finished. This means that that version of you has already forever existed. You do not conjure anything new, it is all there already. You do not have to do anything to create it into your world, you must only appropriate the state. You only change your assumptions, not the world.
Surrender yourself to the law. Let the ball of events roll, be the observer, but do not interfere. It seems like you're not getting what you want? Okay, what of it? You shall imagine anyway, because that's what your inner-self desires.
What do I, the Inner Self want? This is the only question that should matter to you. (Edward Art)
Yield yourself to your desire and know that it shall be expressed through you. Do nothing but that and see the world transform before your eyes.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. Micah 6:8
You have shown yourself what is good. Imagination, the forever being, has showed yourself, the mortal, what is good. And all you must do now is persist in that goodness through forgiveness and mercy to yourself.
It is all mental. Nothing is to be done, but to surrender yourself to yourself.

How do I believe more in my imagination, than the 3d? What did you do to have more faith in imagination than the 3d?
understanding the law in depth, taking the time to read Neville every day, to take in every word and ponder what it means for me and the world around me, meditating, being alone with my thoughts - eventually you see that everything is your creation.

hey – i hope this isn't too much of an ask. but like the previous anon, i too want to change my life drastically. things like my entire appearance (like literally changing my whole face and body to look like someone else), my family, my financial situation.
to be more specific, i don't wanna follow the path that society has drawn out for me. i'm an extremely anxious person, so the thought of getting a job or learning to drive really scares me. i'd rather just manifest having millions and working on passion projects all day, and manifest self-driving cars or like a driver or something LMAO.
but it's kind of difficult, because i don't really have faith that these changes are possible. i know i'm too focused on the outer world rn -- i think it's because i have lots of pressure from my parents, so i feel like my time to manifest these things are limited. but anyways. my question is, could you explain, using the law of assumption's principles, how these changes would be possible? thank you in advance 💓
these changes are possible, because there exists endless possibility within you. there are endless things you can imagine and there are endless ways these things could materially realise. even though the idea of not working but being filthy rich seems unrealistic, there's so many ways it could come about. eg a generous person starts paying you a generous monthly allowance or you could become rich just doing something you deeply love or you could win the lottery or really whatever. the how is not important. if you assume something and persist in it, it will come about.
so, if you don't have faith right now, start with the little things. assume things you might not have the deepest attachment to and you will see them effortlessly materialise. build faith in yourself.

Hi, I’ve read posts about people claiming that once they got from the void they had completely different appearance or even had siblings they didn’t have before or that they lived in a completely different city and so on. Since I am really logical person and kind of new to all of this I have my doubts about these being true. I believe in LOA as that you can manifest getting your dream job or winning money but these instant big changes leaves me skeptical. But on the other hand I’m kind of desperate since there are things about me I would love to change (actually I would want to get back in time a live from me being 15 in 2018 again with different path). I read some stories that people successfully achieved this. I don’t really know what my question is lol. Probably like, is this really achievable with the void state? I need some validation. Everyone is always like “everything’s possible if you believe in it <3” but that’s all. Is this like shifting realities? Do you have any “unbelievable” stories of yourself with the void?:) I’m sorry if this whole sounds rude in any way - I didn’t intend to! I’m just skeptical and hopeless lol
answering old asks, but hi!
when the void was the new big thing on loatumblr, then i did try it, but i was in such a lack mindset that even after several persistent tries i didn't even get in. that was a few years ago now. after i abandoned that mindset that the void is my one saviour, then i've entered many deep meditative states, but i am not sure if you could call them the "void" so to speak. i didn't really care anymore. so, all in all, i don't have much experience with the void, as i don't consciously practice the technique myself.
the void is an extremely attractive technique, especially for those who have just discovered loa for themselves and think the void is the best and easiest way to getting what they want. i 100% believe you can achieve those drastic changes to materialise out of the blue. it all really comes down to your imagination. but then again, if you're so desperate for them to materialise here and now, then i'd say you're living in a state of lack.
the one golden rule is that if you can imagine it, then it is possible.

Daily reflections #2
The assumption is everything; realization is subconscious and effortless. (Neville, "The Power of Awareness", chapter 15)
It's easy to lose yourself in the material world. The world can be emotionally loaded, it can make you feel intensely and because of that you suddenly feel everything to be so fatal. Then it's easy to forget about the law and fall into the trap of self-victimisation.
I think this trap is where most of us have been our whole lives. We feel that things happen to us, not that things happen from us. And even once we know about and practice the law, it's still easy to stay in that trap. You assume something, but then you look for evidence, you try to force something to come to life and keep thinking about what you could do to actually make your desire realise. Sounds familiar?
But what you must realise is that the realisation of your desire is subconscious and effortless. There is no effort to be made. Stop focusing on this mindset of lack where you're constantly looking. Make peace with the world around you, however it has appropriated itself. Who cares what the world has to say? Just focus on your assumptions. Your inner-self is who you have to focus on.
Blessed is she that believed; for there shall be a performance of those things which were told her from the Lord. Luke 1:45
Belief is the keyword here. It shall inevitably materialise. Know that it is done.
Your assumption guides all your conscious and subconscious movements towards its suggested end so inevitably that it actually dictates the events. (Neville)
This is why it works. You live your whole life through imagination, through your consciousness. Your assumption determines everything: how you think, how you act, how you see things. It also determines what you see in life. It governs everything. Because consciousness is everything.
Dear friend, do not imitate what is evil but what is good. Anyone who does what is good is from God. Anyone who does what is evil has not seen God. 3 John 1:11
Evil = fear, good = love. Everything you do from fear, is not in accordance with the desired state.
Do not worry about what might go wrong if your new state fashions itself in your world. To worry about the future is to not be the state. Feel you are already who you want to be as a present fact and you will not fear. (Edward Art)
If you're living in fear, you are not in your desired state. Feel it right now and fear will fade away.

What does it mean to like meditate on a concept?
What I like to do is read Neville and read just a little bit of it (a few paragraphs for example) and then just close my eyes and contemplate on what he said. For example, if I say that "I AM" is the one cause-substance (what governs all in your life), then close your eyes, take a few deep breaths and really focus on that concept. Think about what it means to you and how it relates to your life.
That's what I meant by meditating. For me it's one of the best ways to truly get a grasp and understanding of what the law is. And with greater understanding it's also easier to commit to this law.
