cant believe lemony snicket wrote “I will love you as misfortune loves orphans, as fire loves innocence, and as justice loves to sit and watch everything go wrong.” and expected me to be okay afterwards

The first pumpkin I carved this year!! And I baked the seeds with salt, pepper, garlic power, and paprika! Pretty basic but overall definitely 10/10 🎃✨

The fact that he loves halloween and fall makes me love him even more

Self-care check! 

Do you have any cups, plates, or dishes in your room? Take a second to take them out, rinse them if you can. It’s worth it.

Are you in any discomfort? Cold, hot, achy? Take a minute to grab a sweater, put a fan, and take ibuprofen if you can.

Have you taken all of your meds? Make sure you’re caught up or that your meds are prepared for the week. Any you need to call in?

Do you have any work you were supposed to finish up? An email to send, paper to type up? Get a nice cup of tea and go for it.

Remember that you are loved, and you will be okay.

It was that time again, It was time to shower. I once again stared at my insecurities in the mirror, the things society has told me are unattractive, things to be hidden.

My hip dips, chest and back acne, my cellulite, big thighs, and muffin top or spare tire as my mom puts it all stuck out, things I often ridicule myself over.

But as I stood there thinking of the body I wish I was born with, flat chested with no hips or butt, I wondered why society told me my body wasn't attractive

Other than the rampant gender dysphoria that runs through my head, society has shunned hip dips, acne, cellulite, fat, and many more things. And why? No trait is inherently attractive or unattractive, those are all things people are born with or genetically are likely to develop. So why does society tell us it's bad, when it's not our choice to have these traits in the first place.

I'm sure everyone who's read this has heard this all before. It's not new that society and the media are trying to convince us there's one perfect body. But this is a step in my journey to finding myself and accepting myself for who I am. And I just want to share so you know your not alone if your also struggling with your body image 💚

It's cold enough that I have to wear socks in the morning, that means it's baking season!

It's practically fall already🍁🎃
