30 Day OTP+ Alphabet Challenge

For 30 days, create something based on the day’s later of the alphabet and accompanying word. I gave an example prompt for each word, and but feel free to tweak them as wanted if you’re inspired to do something else with the letter or word of the day. I tried to keep most of them pretty vague, so there are a lot of directions to go in.

Perhaps you’ve noticed there are only 26 letters in the alphabet. Don’t worry, I’m also aware of that: the last 4 day are inspired by special characters on the keyboard.

1. A - Age. Do the otp+ plan on spending their lives together? How do they imagine their relationship years from now?

2. B - Bath. The otp+ share a bath or shower, or bathe as in swimming or sunbathing.

3. C - Commitment. How committed are the otp+? What do they promise to and expect from each other? How do they show their commitment to each other?

4. D - Dance. Do a little dance! Make a little love! Get down tonight! Whoo~!

5. E - Energy! A member of the otp+ is hyper or more hyper than usual.

6. F - Folklore. Write about your otp+ in a fairy or folk tale style. Or: the otp+ shares their favorite folk tales and urban legends.

7. G - Game. The otp+ play a game together.

8. H - Holiday. The otp+ celebrate a holiday or holiday weekend together.

9.  I - If. Hypotheticals, uncertainties, worst and best case scenarios, you name it!

10. J - Just in case. The otp+ has all their bases covered. Or at least they think they do…

11. K - Kiss. Write a kissing scene of any kind! Get creative. 😚

12. L - Looks. The otp+ share glances.

13. M - Muscles. The otp+ show off their muscles, or lack their of, flexing for their partner(s).

14. N - Nevermind. Whatever it was, it isn’t important anymore

15. O - Our. In what ways do the otp+ share their lives?

16. P - Past. The otp+ find something that reminds one or both/all of them of the past.

17. Q - Quote. A member of the otp+ remembers something their sweetie told them. It fills them with DETERMINATION!

18. R - Rain. Are the otp+ caught up in the bad weather, cozy inside, or are they somewhere like on a space ship or in the middle of the desert yearning for a good storm?

19. S - Smooth. A taste, texture, a pick up line. Anything as long as it’s smooth.

20. T - Token. Person A gives person B and/or C+ something of theirs. Or arcade tokens. Or both??

21. U - Urban. The otp+ spends some time in a big city

22. V - Vows. Write your otp+’s wedding vows or, if you prefer: love letters to each other.

23. W - Wish. Make a wish!

24. X - Xylophone. There aren’t many x words.

25. Y - Yes. The otp+ or a member of the otp+ accepts a challenge, quest, request, etc.

26. Z - Zoo. The otp+ spend some time observing and/or interacting with animals.

27. & - the otp+ have multiple activities planned. Maybe too many.

28. ! - Surprise! Something unexpected happens. (Ex. A member of the otp+ shows up for a surprise visit)

How does the otp+ react?

29. ? - Time to clear things up! A member of the otp needs something explained.

30. : - It’s Prompt: The Sequel. Write a second part to one of the previous prompts.

Crisp Air

The bite of the early morning air reminds Ginny of her quidditch practices. She loves the way the dew frosts the grass and the fog hangs low on the grounds. It reminds her of the good times she had at Hogwarts growing up. Looking back on those times makes her chuckle. How she had been so taken for Harry Potter is comical now that she’s found the one she’s meant to be with.

Luna’s dainty hand gives Ginny’s a squeeze before tugging her along. It had been Luna’s idea to leave so early this morning, saying she had a surprise to show Ginny. They’ve been walking for what seems like hours but Ginny guesses it’s only been about twenty minutes or so.

Her breath clouds around her in large puffs and clouds her vision, but it’s easy enough to let Luna guide - not like Ginny knows where they’re going anyway. The sky above begins to lighten. Navy gives way to pale pinks and oranges.

“Hurry!” Luna gasps, as she rushes up a hill, dragging Ginny along

They reach the crest of the hill just as the sun begins to rise. Ginny’s breath hitches and she catches Luna watching her with a dreamy gaze.

Ginny’s mind blanks.

This is definitely better than quidditch practice.

It's that time of year again when the mornings are vastly colder than the afternoons. There's a thin layer of frost covering the grass of the outfield - thin enough that the frost melts at the faintest touch. It leaves the sides of his shoes damp as he walks. Warm breath surrounds him like clouds, making it harder to see in the faint light.

A small breeze flutters by, but its chill reaches his skin even through the layers of clothes he wears. Not surprising, considering the sweat rolling down his back and seeping into his undershirt. That windbreaker he passed on earlier doesn't seem like such a bad idea now.

Live and learn though. Next time he'll be sure to grab it on his way out.

He dabs the sweat from his brow as his breath settles from his run. The crisp air leaves a familiar burn in his throat and lungs, and it soothes the pent-up nerves and energy he felt when he first woke.

But as he comes down from the high of running, he feels his body shiver in the chill.

Maybe this hadn't been such a good idea after all.

"Eijun!" A familiar voice calls to him, shattering the quiet of the early morning.

A smile creeps across his face when he notices Haruichi bundled up against the cold morning, dimly lit by a nearby streetlamp. In one hand he holds a heavy-looking jacket that promises to shield Eijun's body from the air, and in the other, there's a steaming cup of what Eijun can only hope is hot chocolate.

"Harucchi!" Eijun calls, regaining some of his earlier energy as he jogs over to Haruichi. He gratefully takes the jacket, pulling it half on before taking the cup in his hands. The smell of chocolatey goodness reaches his nose and he sighs in relief as the cup warms his stiff fingers. He holds the cup close to his chest as he stares at Haruichi. "Harucchi, you're a lifesaver!"

"Yes, yes," Haruichi smiles at him. He gently guides Eijun back toward the dorms. "I had a feeling you'd be out here with that test coming up in a few hours." Eijun makes a squawking sound that has Haruichi holding back a laugh. "Now, let's get you inside before you catch a cold."

Six Sentence Sunday! I'm working on a fictober story that's tentatively being called "Off the Beaten Path". It's a JJK fic and I like these paragraphs so far so decided to share!

It sits—curled in a small ball—seemingly waiting for him. From afar, Yuta can tell its flesh is pale, maybe even white, and he’s unsure what to do. He can go around it, but that will mean entering the forest, where the creatures can spirit him away. What if he waits? Will it eventually leave?

Yuta tries this for a moment, but he soon realizes that stillness is just as dangerous as entering the trees. A cloud must have passed in front of the sun because the shadows suddenly seem to press in on him. The leaves rustle above him, but it's the breeze that startles him. It carries strange whispers of words that Yuta can’t understand, and it unsettles him enough to force his feet forward.

As he walks closer, he sees the creature shift and curl around itself—its pale skin is almost luminescent in the dim lighting. When he’s mere feet from it, the creature lifts its head. Purple eyes stare into him and Yuta finds himself as frozen as that first day two years ago.

finding a primary care physician should not be so difficult. I managed to narrow it down from 300 something to 56 but that's still 56 doctors I need to now look up? yeah no. this is... too overwhelming tonight and I'm gonna cry if I keep this up so I guess I'll postpone this another day lol
