I can understand how easy it is to feel struck and not get enough strength to pick up yourself and start again. I have been going through this problem for some time now but I'm still in the phase of trying to do only small things first. I fear i might get left behind but i believe baby steps would eventually lead to accomplishing my goal .
I've been on this "self improvement" journey for so long that I can watch thousands of shorts and motivational videos about "you're wasting your potential" "your future you will thank you later" "success requires discipline" and stay in bed without feeling like moving a finger. I can read one self-improvement book and wake up like nothing happened. But then since 2025 started I have been so committed to my goals and stayed disciplined no matter how hard it's been. I've been getting back on track again and again - without giving up. I've been exercising sometimes and reading and working even when all I wanted was to scroll or watch YT. And this has NEVER happened to me before. What is different this year? Nothing. What keeps me moving? The fear that if I give up on myself one more time I won't start again. The fear that if I give up on myself one more time I could lose myself. The thought that if I fall and lose myself there will be no one there to pick me up. It's not motivation, not even discipline. It's fear. And what I fear is not failure. It's losing myself and not being able to pick up the pieces. Rya p.s.: everytime I write one post I feel like I'm slowly destroying the English language. So yeah, if there are any mistakes, be kind and pretend you didn't see anything <3

Let's be real—every pretty girl has *accidentally* peed her pants in public at least once. It's like an unspoken rite of passage!

This is a song called Till Forever Falls Apart by Ashe and FINNEAS. I was listening to some some songs this evening and this song started playing which made me feel nostalgic about something which i never experienced (jk i did experience ) . I just thought there was a time when i too made vows and promises to another just like the lyrics of this song but all those promises disappeared in the realm of time and no more holds relevance. ヽ(;▽;)ノ
If the tide takes California I'm so glad I got to hold ya And if the sky falls from heaven above Oh, I know I had the best time falling into love We've been living on a fault line And for a while, you were all mine I've spent a lifetime giving you my heart I swear that I'll be yours forever 'Til forever falls apart 'Til forever falls apart We never had it from the start 'Til death do us part

O Captain ! My Captain!
O Captain! my Captain! our fearful trip is done,
The ship has weather’d every rack, the prize we sought is won,
The port is near, the bells I hear, the people all exulting,
While follow eyes the steady keel, the vessel grim and daring;
But O heart! heart! heart!
O the bleeding drops of red,
Where on the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.
O Captain! my Captain! rise up and hear the bells;
Rise up- for you the flag is flung- for you the bugle trills,
For you bouquets and ribbon’d wreaths- for you the shores a-crowding,
For you they call, the swaying mass, their eager faces turning;
Here Captain! dear father!
This arm beneath your head!
It is some dream that on the deck,
You’ve fallen cold and dead.
My Captain does not answer, his lips are pale and still,
My father does not feel my arm, he has no pulse nor will,
The ship is anchor’d safe and sound, its voyage closed and done,
From fearful trip the victor ship comes in with object won;
Exult O shores, and ring O bells!
But I with mournful tread,
Walk the deck my Captain lies,
Fallen cold and dead.
~Walt Whitman (1819-1892)
This is one my favorite poems. O captain ! My captain !

you ever notice how dystopian novels always have the “rich elite living in a pristine city while the rest suffer” trope? wild how that’s considered fiction and not just an autobiography about late-stage capitalism.

“To be able to say: I loved this person, we had a hell of a nice time together, it's over but in a way it will never be over and I do know that I for sure loved this person, to be able to say that and mean it, that's rare— that's rare and valuable.”
— Ernest Hemingway, The Complete Short Stories (via 7-weeks)

Where do we belong ?
We're merely just lost stars
searching for our constellations
finding our ways back to
where we once belonged.
