One of my favorite SPN Headcanons is that Cas doesn't have a favorite music genre. By that I mean that he will listen to anything he finds remotely pleasing, and considering that he's had no preconceived notion of most human music outside of Dean giving him the mixtape, his music taste ends up being very strangely eclectic . He has a Spotify playlist that is over 150 hours. It contains everything from modern pop to Fleetwood Mac, classic rock that Dean showed him, emo and pop punk that Claire showed him, and the weirdest shit you've ever heard in your life. The Winchesters never let him pick the music while driving and do everything in their power to keep him away from the stereo. He doesn't understand why.

probably going to give up my spn live-blogging. fear not, i will still post about supernatural since it’s absolutely consumed my soul, however with the way that the show is going way downhill at this point most of my posts would just be “this makes no fucking sense! have they run out of ideas already because what is this bullshit?” etcetera etcetera…

spoilers for s7 ahead

anyways, i’m currently on 7x15. Thoughts on s7 so far? In case you haven’t already guessed it, I despise it. at certain points it has genuinely made me consider dropping the show altogether, but i’m sure the show has its high points later on. Killing Cas hurt my soul, but I know he’ll be back. Killing Bobby felt like my soul got tortured in hell for centuries, but I’m hoping he comes back. I genuinely sobbed my eyes out when I watched that episode because goddamn it was sad. I love Bobby so much. I love how you can tell how deeply Bobby’s death affected Sam and Dean. Also, loved the time travel episode. That was great. Same with the one where the kids’ fears come to life. And I love the hallucifer arc, it’s genuinely one of my favorite arcs of all time so far, but other than that I really really hate this season. The leviathans are the worst thing ever. And when I say the worst I mean it. I’m sick of them. Most of the monsters this season are just like awful. Half the time they make no sense.

I really really want an au where Ben and Lisa get their memories back and run into TFW again, and at first Ben doesn't like Cas at all because "he took Dean away from them", but then he's left alone with him. It's awkward as hell for a while, so Sam decides to help. However, it turns out that Ben, Cas, and Sam are even worse chaos magnets than just Cas and Sam. Dean comes back and almost gets sucked into the mysterious portal the trio accidentally opened. He doesn't let any of them out of his sight for two weeks.

I need an SPN normal au where Cas is just as unhinged as he is in canon. He's just a normal human, but he seems to randomly appear behind people whenever he feels like it. He has a normal job, but he threatens to throw Sam out of a window for drinking the last cup of coffee. He's in a normal, human relationship, but he gives Dean a real human heart for Valentine's Day and refuses to say where he got it from.
