just got a few more tcg packs in the post and i got a few iskall cards. if anyone wants them hit me up, all you have to pay is postage. i can't in good conscience keep these

i used to really enjoy them, but they get a lot of stuff wrong about mythology and often mash up versions of stories to create one they find entertaining. they also never choose the version of the story that's most common, they just choose some random minor retelling of the story that was maybe only told in one tiny area of greece (looking at you aphrodite areia). they also only tell parts of certain stories - such as their take on the oresteia not showing clytemnestra's abuse and the continual one sided hate towards agamemnon who is actually not as big a dick as some of the others in the iliad (looking at you, achilles). they consistently pain characters who are morally grey or nuanced as either bad or good, and a lot of characters who do awful stuff are portrayed as good people (cough cough Achilles)

Tagamemnon folks, how do we feel about overly sarcastic productions (I used to love them but now I don’t). Please reply with your reasons I want to make a video about one of the videos I HATE.

love the song I can’t help but wonder just because of the play The Oresteia by Euripedes. Odysseus has this whole moment of “you need to create a fairer world without me :( it’s far beyond my years Athena :( go do open arms without me in hundreds of years :(“ and so Athena goes and teams up with Apollo and creates the Athenian justice system literally a month later for none other than Agamemnon’s son

one of the funniest parts of Greek mythology to me is. Can you imagine being Patroclus and being judged by the three judges of the underworld? Minos, Rhadamanthus, Aeacus? Because two of those would hate you. You just killed their brother Sarpedon, they aren’t gonna be too happy. The only way the other one knows you is because you’re screwing his grandson. And somehow you end up in Elysium and not Tartarus
