I love opposite attracts and thought: karkat with a peppy funny fem reader that’s his gf/mate..?(I forgot the name 💦). who’s just a big ball of sunshine with a goofy personality…Like tries her best to make him smile (cause he’s such a grumpy troll ) by cracking up good jokes or stories. For example: “one time, I walked into a glass door and…” but stops because she’s laughing at that memory.

(This happened to me to be honest lol )

THIS IS SO CUTE AHHH ok ok ok ok!!!

-karkat is a very grumpy troll.

-so everyone seeing him get with you was a huge shock!

-i mean, look at you!!! you *are* the sun. the sun, all the stars, everything good that’s in the world—that’s what you embody.

-but karkat’s different around you. he smiles more.. everyone sees that and they know you’re good for him.

-now, you’re with karkat, telling a story.

-“so then—eheheh..” you can hardly get through it.

-“spit it out, (y/n)! god.” karkat sounded mean but you knew he wanted to hear. and you knew he didn’t mean it to sound like that, his ghost of a smile told you so.

-“sorrryyyy!!” you said through giggles. “anyway, my mom/dad/guardian had just washed the glass door and i was headed outside with the birthday cake and i walked right into it!! the cake got all over me and i dropped it but it sure tasted good!!”

-“you’re so clumsy.” he laughed just a little.

-“i know, but you love me.~”

-“they do say opposites attract.” he put both hands on the side of your face and pulled you in, kissing the top of your head.

"you're my best girl..." he said with a shaking breath after it had been won. "thank you, Wilbur." she still didn't know how to take that. "Of course." that was during.

"My best girl... it was never meant to be," he said, then explosions sounded. he was dead with one stab of the sword... she squawled, sobbed, screamed till her lungs gave out, till her throat was raw. she yelled at Phil for killing him, yelled at everyone who tried to rationalize it, tried to make her see what he did was wrong. she knew, but it would kill her if she acknowledged it. so, she pretended it wasn't true, pretended he was good when he died. pretended he was who he was before L'Manberg... her general, she and Tommy his right-hand men.. even though he was deranged, delusional, and insane when he died. even though he scared her... there was something about that phrase... "You're my best girl..." something she held onto. best girl... that was after.

Before she knew it, he was there. this imposter, this ghost of a man. nothing like her Wilbur. he tried to bring her back to him, he conveyed to everyone that she was the one he loved, the one he loved when he was alive, but nothing would bring her back.... so when he died, it didn't make a difference in her life... but then someone showed up in his place... her Wilbur.

"where is she, Tommy?! Where is my best girl?!" "Wilbur?" oh what a relief.. everything she ever wanted was back. her Wilbur. she was the best girl again. really, she always was, but to hear it from her lover again... that was something in and of itself. he was back. "Ohh! There she is!!!" he ran up to her and picked her up, swinging her around and kissing her. "My best girl...." this is a new beginning.

I have an idea for one that could be potentially fun.

Karkat having a pale crush on a human reader who is (at least from his perspective), the the epitome of why trolls need moirails?( Easy to anger,violence as a first resort, all that good stuff.Since despite how to we sometimes forget it and even though moirail is kind of a platonic soul mate thing its mostly made for controlling a partner that's dangerous.)

I don't know; I just felt like it would be fun; if you're not comfortable writing it, that's fine.

and after that, he decided to explain to you troll romance, and the importance of a moirail. you two became moirails that day(as if you weren’t already, though). you were kept under control and karkat was more than content to be the one to do keep you. <3
