"From This Pain, I Will Rise" Curse Jar

A Curse Jar To Help to Return The Pain Felt By The Victim to Their Abuser

Ingredients:

A Glass Jar (Must have a lid or stopper)

A Taglock (an item that belonged to them, a picture of them, a lock of hair, etc)

Black Salt (banishing, protection from further attacks by the abuser)

Lavender (depression, lack of sleep, restlessness)

Cinnamon (protection, binding, chaos)

Onion (causes strife)

Lemon (sourness, bitterness)

Hot Paprika (chaos, pain)

Cayenne Pepper (chaos, pain)

Ginger (bitterness)

Rosemary (taint their dreams, nightmares, cloud their vision)

Spit (disrespect, mainly for DNA connection) 

Black string (death, loss, mourning, depression, obscure their vision, bring out the worst, drama)

White candle (protection for caster/victim also can cause the abuser to have lack of ambition, blank their mind, disappear, make them (or yourself to them) invisible, push away their family)

All ingredients can be substituted out as the caster sees fit.

Place their taglock at bottom of the jar before covering it completely with black salt.

Next layer each ingredient on top of the other while focusing on the pain they caused. The order is as follows: first lavender, then cinnamon, onion, lemon, hot paprika, cayenne, ginger, rosemary, and spit if you feel comfortable doing so.

Put the lid on the bottle or cork it before wrapping the black web that represents the poisonous fate that will befall them.

Seal the jar with the white candle wax and wait for it to harden.

Place the jar in the deepest dark corner of your room/closet or the basement before taking a deep breath because you deserve it. It can also be placed in the abuser’s home if it is safe to do so.

Follow up with some self care and/or favorite cleansing method.

My Notes on What I Did:

For my taglock, I used my father’s sheet music copy of Every Breath You Take by The Police since he used it to get laid for the first time. I decided to do so since he’s always cared more about his ladies than his own kid.

I also used my spit because we share some of the same DNA sadly. Hopefully it will add the extra kick to this spell on this Father’s Day Eve. Be careful when spitting into the jar if you’re using spicy ingredients because putting your lips on the rim after pouring it in can cause an uncomfortable burn (I accidentally did this because I’m exhausted from work).

Spell Loopholes

Wording a spell correctly is extremely important! We’ve all heard the stories of someone who cast a spell and technically had it come true, but in a way that wasn’t what they actually wanted at all! Here’s a list of common “loopholes” spells will take to get the job done, and how to make sure you get what you want!

🕯Taking its time- “I want money,” you tell the Universe, hoping to get some help with rent. Well, rent comes and there’s no extra cash in sight! Then, two weeks later, a surprise wad of cash all but lands in your lap. The spell came true, but not in time for when it mattered. This is easily fixed by adding “…by the end of the month,” or specifying what the money is for, which in this case was this month’s rent.

🕯No help needed- “I want money,” you say again. Magic will often take the path of least resistance, so if you’ve already got a paycheck on the way, the spell might not do much besides make sure it doesn’t get lost. There. Money. It can be good to specify that you want your spell to work in addition to everything you’re already doing!

🕯 Bare minimum- This time from your money spell, it arrives on time from an unexpected source! But it’s a quarter you found on the ground. Maybe three quarters. Not much help! If your intent would require the money to be close to a certain amount or any other specific like that, let it be known! The universe isn’t there to make assumptions.

🕯 For the worst- Let’s say you have two friends that have been flirting, so you cast a nice little spell to let any mutual interest between them blossom into a relationship and save them some trouble. It happens, but it turns out they do NOT work well with each other. They are interested in each other, but argue constantly and bring out the worst in each other. The relationship is hurting them both. You had the absolute best of intentions, but there was no way of knowing that would happen! This is why a lot of witches include the phrase, “for the highest good” in their spells, as a failsafe for any unexpected pitfalls like this that may be lurking. The universe will see them but doesn’t know to care unless you specify.

🕯Another layer- Once I made a dream bear to bring me more dreams. Well, I had lots more dreams, but couldn’t remember any of them! I didn’t think that was something I needed to specify. Make sure you hit every point you need to be satisfied with a result.

As a general rule, if my spell includes a prayer or petition of any sort, I take a few minutes and comb through it for stuff like this beforehand. What am I specifying? What am I leaving up to interpretation? Could any of that manifest in a way I would be unhappy with? Take a little time before you start casting to smooth out all those wrinkles! Best of wishes!

Hi, may I have a reading please? I just recently broke up with my boyfriend because I thought it might interfere with my education/future.. Was I helping myself in doing so or was that too greedy of me? Will I be able to move on & succeed in life or should I try with him again?

So, to me, it looks like you are currently feeling a lot of guilt and anxiety about this breakup (though I didn’t need a card to tell me that one). Hi may I have a tarot reading pls? Im kind of emotionally in pain right now. I know itll pass. It feels like I can control it but at the same time I cant. I'm on a twin flame journey right now & my soulmate best friend is assuming my twin to be their twin flame. I'm not hanging onto the label desperately but the pain can sometimes be overwhelming. Disclaimer: I am not familiar with twin flame journeys, so I am doing my best with the limited information that I have.

Basically, it looks like that in order to overcome this situation, you need to trust your gut and either leave the situation altogether or get used to being an individual. The outcome does say that you will recover emotionally, but that there will be movement away from those difficulties. 

The cards seem to want you to just up and leave. I, however, disagree and would suggest straight up telling your friend to back off and leave your relationship alone. If she can’t respect that though, she’s not being a good friend and that needs to be brought up. If she still can’t get it, then I agree with the cards and it’s time to let go. It hurts, I know, but sometimes it’s better to cut off people that don’t respect or value you, and find new people to associate with.
